Start Commanders Log
The ship has been in operation for almost 18 hours now and everything is still functioning normally. We did have one slip however, Evens accidentally fired the Countermeasure Dropper, so we're down a single flare. Other than that the ship has performed flawlessly. On our way to the Tokelau Ice Cloud we ran into some lesser Nomad Labraids and Sascyas but AVIOS quickly destroyed them and collected what was left.
AVIOS has also hacked the four weapon platforms surrounding the Omicron Minor Jump Hole and deleted our encounter with them. We also hacked the Zoner Satellite giving us the ability to detect ships in the system. Unfortunately it is not accurate enough to give us the vessel type or location.
We are now planning our jump into Omicron Iota and the grid pattern we will use. I believe a sweeping pattern across the system while slowly moving down will be best. This will slowly take us closer to the Omicron Delta Jump Hole, so if we need to get out of the system quickly, we can.
For now we will continue to configure AVIOS for the system sweep. As well as re-test all systems. This will take approximately 24 hours, so the next report will only contain the automated AVIOS report.
