Yesterdays patrol was quite long and messy, I will try to focus on the main details here.
Frau Leutnant Austerlitz called for men to perform a patrol of the Omega-7 system. Gefreiter Hoguf was already with the Frau Leutnant and I met with them in Omega-7 where they already had catched a violator of the laws of our beloved Kanzler. Scan of the violator
This Junker was breaking the Junker regulations for allowed ships (Article 8 §1.2.). On top of that he was also registered in the criminal database and was subject to execution.
Unfortunately he was able to run to Freistadt and dock there. Junker on the run
In the meantime Gefreite Lemann was on the way to join our patrol. However, she reported two suspicious vessels at the Stuttgart Jump Gate in New Berlin. The Rest of the patrol moved there to assist.
After our arrival we tried to inquire the reasons of their presence there. They answered they were former Ageira workers and now working as Freelancers fixing Gate and Tradelane related issues. This was indeed highly suspicious, but unfortunately an emergency call from Braunschweig made it impossible to gather further information. We ordered them to clear the Jump Gate perimeter and left the case to a member of the secondary fleet.
Said emergency call was made by a secondary fleet member. He reported a Liberty capital ship has breached Braunschweig security perimeters through Bremen. Frau Lemann and me docked as soon as possible to switch to bombers and moved there as quickly as possible. The RNC-Pressburg also received said emergency call and joined us to dispatch that threat. Arriving at Braunschweig the secondary fleet member reported the enemy has jumped back to Bremen, so we pursued him. The snubcraft took the lead and jumped ahead to scout the other side of the Bremen jumphole. He was already waiting for us there and the battle began. The secondary fleet member in his Wraith disengaged after some time into the combat. While we were busy landing some hits on him the Pressburg also jumped, now that we had the attention of the Libertonian ship and the jumphole was clear. With combined forces of our bombers and the Pressburgs heavy weapons the threat was dispatched without friendly losses. Battle with the Liberty Dreadnought Smashed by the Kanzler's Hammer
Reports of several ships belonging to the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army marauding in New Berlin reached us while we docked our bombers. All vessels were reported to be fighters, so Frau Lemann and me changed back to Wraith class fighters. Frau Leutnant Austerlitz joined us while we moved to the position they were last seen. It was near Stuttgart jump gate where we encountered them currently fighting a Bounty Hunter. Arriving at the scene
The Leutnant and the Gefreite jumped in to deal with them while I guarded the jump gate to make sure none of them flees. Rheinwehr going in
After some minutes of battle the first one fell to their fire
The Bounty Hunter was then ordered out of the fight for he was quite reluctant to listen to our orders given during combat.
The second SCRA fighter could be dispatched by our forces, but unfortunately reinforcements arrived on their side in the form of a Hessian and one vessel belonging to the group known as AGS, this was the time for me to take part in the fighting as well. We were able to destroy the AGS ship, but their reinforcements kept coming in. Fighting
Under the vessels coming there to aid them we discovered a strange one in particular. We were able to get some scans on him and his ship was destroyed later on. Strange ship
The battle raging for quite some time now, Leutnant Kraus came in to assist us, but was shot down later on.
From this moment on, with their numbers growing stronger over time and us growing tired, Leutnant Austerlitz gave the order to retreat. Gefreite Lemann, the Leutnant and myself managed to pull out there and get to safety, where we docked to let repairs be conducted and finally get some rest after that long and exhausting battle.
