Mein Herr, Feldwebel Erwin Helge reporting on defense action new the Stuttgart to New Berlin Jumpgate.
I started my day as normal, reviewing my orders and making a final check of my Wraith. I had orders to patrol the New Berlin system and I was diligently carrying out those orders when I intercepted a high priority message from a secondary fleet flieger with information on a pirate gunboat in Stuttgart. I knew this would be a tough fight as I have had little combat experience against gunboats in one of the Kanzlers snubcraft. I docked and switch to the aircraft designated DTS-134-667. It was armed for combat against the capital ship and I launched as soon as I could. I asked the Gottkanzler for strength and guidance in this mission, and he provided in the form of an RFP pilot by the name of Katja Weirich. This officer was an Ex-bomber pilot in the RM I believe and the tips provided by the officer saved my life in the ensuing combat. With the Gottkanzler in my heart, and the RFP at my back we engaged the criminal gunboat and ended it, not without taking heavy damage but both of us survived the ordeal.
The credit for this victories goes to the Rheinland Federal Police, and their undeniable, and greatly appreciated help. I could not have done it alone.
