Yet another example of our asymmetrical warfare paying off. Myself and Lieutenant Commander KeSi, in Raven's Talons, swooped into Crete's orbit, finding ourselves against two Brotherhood gunboats and a fighter. Typical sad state of fear they live in, flying in packs of armour.
Well, the fighter, piloted by Brother Torres, became our target. We were sustaining heavy damage, but I was able to shatter his vessel's hull with a nuclear mine.
Xing and I then fled the scene, the gunboats in hot pursuit, obviously not caring about their comrade floating in an escape pod.
We made it to Freeport 5, and endured some harassment from Sephardi at the helm of the Sicarii, trying to lure me out into a fight. Immature jokes about my dear mother aren't going to make me park myself in front of two gunboats' cannons, funnily enough.
Anyway, the gunboat pilot in question seemed to think he had scored a fantastic victory in Omega-49 earlier, by firing on a ship that wanted nought to do with fighting Corsairs. He seems to think the RACS-Havana is not under our control any more, and seemed to be trying to sow seeds of distrust for my brother-in-arms, Captain-Elder Costello. Ridiculous.
Mission accomplished, still no ships lost and Lieutenant Commander KeSi's professionalism is to be noted.
