I can understand the feelings of @Owen, but there is literally nothing can be done about it. If you really believe, that you can run a faction in long-term perspective, if you really believe, that you can gather own active playerbase - make your own faction and you probably won't have many troubles with getting officialdom. Probably even adding something more interesting to old concept, as, for example, the reviving of business warfare with Kishiro.
Telling people "you are bad, i can do it better, so give me leadership" isn't something appreciated, I guess. You are just smashing your head against the wall with giving yourself a bad image at the same time.
And no, I can understand you, because I've faced the same situation, acted in the same way (thought not publically) and I really had troubles, until I've managed to adopt to the way things are and find understanding with other people. I can honestly wish you the same.

Because their reaction to me deleting the older recruitment thread is evident that if they want me to roleplay, I need to be in a position where I'm not suddenly stripped of it because I did something they didn't approve of. I can't stand micromanaging and I'm not going to do it if I'm going to be micromanaged.
2. I would do the exact same thing if I was leader. Go down guns blazing. Unfortunately, this is pals method of dealing with things.
3. I didn't make the duplicate recruitment thread, yes I would've clicked "Full Edit" and changed the old one but when I came back there was two and obviously one needed to be deleted to avoid confusion. I was not the person who made duplicate threads, I think it was pals but I also think it might've been Markus.
4. I didn't change it, but the rest had adopted it but we still had the old logo around the place so I thought it was best our branding be consistent. Anyway, I think the new one is nice, props to whoever made that.
You absolutely don not need to be in the position of power (1ic) to be able to roleplay for the faction you want. You omitted the fact that I roleplayed for Samura years ago while consulting Bradmin and all other directors. That was definitely not hard to do and it is not called getting micromanaged by someone else it is called showing respect towards previous leaders and other directors, aka all those older players that came before you. On the other hand, logical to me would be deleting new recruitment thread with only one post instead of the old one with countless posts and history.
In any case, as far as I know, this Samura faction is open to all who would join it and who would like to play and roleplay as Samura. I see no reason why you could not have joined them, helped them and maybe... gradually in the future became the leader by showing you are top person for the job.
As a last point, I hope I do not need to remind you why I made you my successor and Samura CEO, And what you did with the faction afterwards even though I suggested you other alternatives... that you did not want to go with.

I did and I did. They kicked me out because I got the duplicate recruitment thread deleted. You can debate over what I should've done, everyone seems to have their own little suggestions and own logic as to the best course of action on that but at the end of the day it was done with no ill intention, only good intentions. Their reaction to the recruitment thread is the reason I'm in this current mood.
Also on the previous point. Some relationships do work well, but it became evident to me after the recruitment thread thing that I cannot work with this leadership to deliver the roleplay (originally, I was going to do that). I can't stand being micromanaged and it was evident to me they flip out over little things and make wild accusations. It just would. not. work. with me. I need some autonomy and freedom if I'm going to achieve what they need me to achieve.
And yeah consulting with the board of directors would be fantastic if pals logged in once in a while...

From what I got, you did none of the above. No consultation with the other faction directors, no coordination, just moves you did on your own. Correct me if I am wrong. You see, if I came back to Disco now and came back to Samura as well, which I would could never do, not even in insanity, the thing I would do/say is ''Hey, I came back to Disco and I want to join back into Samura. If the answer is yes, tell me what needs doing.'' And move on from there. No self initiative without consultation. As for Pals or Karl, I could see them online during at least one portion of the day. Since Pals is from India and Karl from Brasil.
As for why I named you my successor, it is because you were one of the only remaining active Samura players. Everyone else either went dormant in Disco, left Samura or left Disco altogether. And if you want to know why such bad luck hit Samura it is because no matter what RP me or anyone else in Samura wrote, it did not matter, higher powers did not care about any RP written. And who wants to be in a faction that cannot progress? Who wants to be in a faction that has its systems taken and given to other factions, their planets/stations taken and given to other factions, their station blown up. No one. The only thing that kept faction alive was Bradmin being an admin and leading Samura. The moment he left Disco, admin position and Samura, everything fell apart.

Are you calling me a liar? I came back to Samura. Hopewell messaged me and invited me back to the Discord, I was welcomed back. I said "The subforum needs some cleaning up, it's a bit of a mess right now" and Hopewell gave me the password to the account to clean it up. I felt from that point on I didn't need to consult, because they knew what I was doing.
I still, to this day, don't understand why deleting the duplicate recruitment thread is such a thing people are freaking out over. Just chill out. It's all going to be fine. Pals is never online on the forum or the discord is the thing. Hopewell is de facto leader.

It's time to stop.
Yes it does sound like I'm repeating myself at this point.

Samura Dock has been a running meme for a while now, but you still aren't trying to improve your encounters.
yelling 'heeee' and then quickly docking isn't really what I have in mind for an official faction, especially since every single one of our encounters is similar to this.
