A patrol in force by the capital ships Dreadnaught and Antarg to Omicron Gamma may have had unexpected repercussions.
An HF dreadnaught was detected moving through the area around Omicron Gamma. In the desire to avoid confrontation with AW in their home system, Omicron Theta was avoided by the patrol and pursuit of HF vessels did not encroach on AW space.
After encountering an HF cruiser, our patrol set off in pursuit. The cruiser was joined by the HF battleship and an AW fighter.
Once again, in the desire to void involving AW, pursuit was broken off and SCRA ships returned to the planet Crete.
Once at Crete, avoidance of the issue became difficult and HF and AW ships opened fire on the Dreadnaught.
After sustaining heavy damage, both the Dreadnaught and HF battleship were knocked out of the fight.
Frigate Antarg broke away from the engagement and proceded out of the system when the Dreadnaught announced an inability to repair damage on short notice.
With the HF battleship expected to be returning to the fight at short notice, a series of running engagements were undertaken. Resupply and hasty repairs were possible at Battleship Fes in Omega 47 during a break in the fighting.
With the AW involved and 3 enemy ships in pursuit, reinforcements were desperately needed.
We proceded to Cambridge system in the hope of finding friendly craft.
Unfortunately no SF or SSO vessels were to be found in the area and local police became hostile after a misfiring missile from the Antarg damaged one of their craft.
With the hope of evening the odds, we set course for Salisbury system. Although the Bretonian Guard are extremely hostile there, it was expected they would be of some assistance.
An engagement in Salisbury ended with no real outcome for either side and the Antarg was eventually able to disengage from battle.
Strangely, during the engagement, no Helghast vessels were sighted, and questions must be asked about Helghast's interest in a war that only involves their allies.
Message received.
Expect the Antarg at the rendezvous for the trip back.
Please notify of any problems during testing of the mothership.
Delaying actions will be maintained against Helghast and allies until the support craft are safely away.
As the chancellor has left for the sol system, I am now in command. My first, and ONLY new order, is to disengage. Stop any and all actions against HF, Helghast, and AW(?). As for the Phantoms, they do what they do, and we do what we do.
My reason is this: We have done no wrong. I am tired of fighting an enemy that we did not ask for, and that we have no conflict with. if you are engaged by any vessel claiming to be in 'a state of war' with us, disengage immediatly. Feel free to use cruise disruptors and mines to discourage pursuit. We will not be participants in a war that has nothing to do with us, merely others perceptions of our actions. No more. Disengage, scatter, and regroup at the predefined rally points. More instructions following the removal of Terra from Omega 49.
For the Revolution! Mcintosh out.
OOC: yea, i got tired of being the punching bag of everyone who had a silly grudge, or got 500 mil for a new system (cough). So, no more fighting. I will be starting a recruitment thread SOON, the link will be posted here for anyone interested. QV, tank, and Bestflyer. DO NOT POST IN HERE AGAIN. And, don't talk to me, i think i can find a better quality of ally in the future. Thats all for me. FYI, bounties to be posted on any member of any faction who feels the need to keep shooting. /end OOC.

Salutations,
Dis wants to know "*..does this mean he's had to take a real job?*"
(I think she's still a bit miffed that her "teddy bear" adiosed for Terra.)
Congratulations. Both on the promotion, and on the decision. Really, I'm quite relieved, as I was a bit premature in defining a 'mutual non-aggression pact" as a "My butt's getting shot off. Help!" commitment..
You guys are a bit quirky, but hey, if the idea of returning to a burnt out cinder of a planet in a boring solar system in a really hayseed corner of the galaxy blows your kilt up, I say more power to ya! And you should be left alone to get on with it!
To that end, and to the plaintive objections of my designers, I am hereby relinquishing claim to the Omega 168 System to the SCRA. You guys need a place to retire to after a long day at the Canaria shipyards, or fending off pirates, or managing to piss someone off over comms..
...and 'cause after all, spreading the Word of Eris requires that we be anywhere and everywhere.. missionaries and gypsies.. Masters only of the Castles of our Minds. Hmm.. there's a song in there somewhere..
This is Grand Admiral Mcintosh. I have happy news today, despite the recent woes. I am pleased to Announce that Commodore Antarg is hereby Promoted to Admiral, and will be given command of the Omega-49 Fleet. His current subordinates are the RACS Protreptic, RAGB Victory, and RACS Frog. The terra is also staioned insystem to offer support if needed.
To Malaclypse, thank you for offering that system to us, we appreciate it, however it appears that all of the Jump Holes on my map have disapeared after this recent equipment upgrade, so I will see what I can do about finding them again. I agree that Mutual Non-Agression is not a declaration of support by any means, and I hope that we can maintain the same congenial agreement. And for Dis, I'm sure that she'll see that Chancellor's Face sometime, even if it's trapped in a funny looking ball of ice floating past. And be sure, that if we piss anyone off over the comms, we will be doing it on purpose and with deadly intent, this time.
Admiral Antarg, muster your Fleet, there is work to be done. We are not finished, not by a long shot, for the revolution must go on, and when they speak our names in a thousand years, they will speak them hushed, and reverent. For We will Crush our opponents beneath our heels, grind their ships to dust, and leave no man standing, for We are the SIRIUS COALITION REVOLUTIONARY ARMY, and only VICTORY stands in our way!

We have completed preliminary outfitting of our newest acquisition, which unexpectedly turns out to be a Huegenot.
After trial runs into Omicron Gamma aboard the ship just completed at Corfu, it was decided that the poor build quality and navigational difficulties were inadequate for the task of supporting SCRA operations. Unfortunately, the Zoners refused to refund our downpayment, so the "great steaming pile of crap" as one of the crew so succinctly put it, was disposed of by auction to the highest bidder.
The crew was loaded aboard a smaller ship and transported to Malta, due to Corsair hostilities. While we considered our next move, the crew got completely trashed after the horrendous ordeal suffered in Omicrons Theta and Gamma.
Fortunately some SCRA sympathisers were on hand to make things more enjoyable.
We were able to acquire a shiny new Huegenot with a few well placed bribes.
Currently the Procrastinator is undergoing final testing and outfitting. Corsair computer records were successfully altered by an expert on Freeport 11 and combat testing is due to get underway in Red Hessian space.

Greetings my Lords,
Today the Protreptic engaged two [CR] vessels on our own initiative. We deemed the fact that they were lawfuls and the Planetform tags enough of a reason.
[CR]Apollo and [CR]Artemis (who were both flying Vipers) were heading down through Leeds into New London, so we pursued. The Artemis was destroyed docking with Southampton Shipyard in a futile attempt to evade us. [CR]Apollo watched this and then ran, taking the trade lane to Kensington.
The Protreptic followed, however, by the time we got to Kensington, the Apollo had dissappeared. We then went to the Cambridge jumpgate, and then to New London, but he wasnt to be found. after taunting us on our long-range comms link, the Apollo responded and we had a rather open discussion about the diplomatic stance between our factions.
These Colonial Remnants seem to be very good at running, but I have yet to see their mettle in combat. Apologies for any mistakes made in the 'engagement'.

Greetings my lords,
Tonight I again engaged two [CR] vessels, the [CR]Cancerian, who i believe had newly boughten a Large Train, and [CR]Apollo again, after his lucky escape last night, both in Cambridge.
Long range sensors had showed that the Cancerian was in the Newcastle system, and with the help of an unidentified vessel, we were able to determine it was a trader.
I met the Cancerian at Scarborugh station, and i attempted to engage it, but the train got away through the trade lanes.
we pursued all the way to planet Cambridge, with the police disrupting our cruises and slowing us down in general the whole way, where they refused to launch from the surface and buy the Cardamine we offered in return for staying alive. Take note that several times during the chase the Protreptic came close to the destruction of the Cancerian, but quick action on the part of the pilot always brought the shields up quickly. it seems these [CR] keep a very healthy supply indeed of shield batteries and nanobots.
It was at that point that the [CR]Apollo emerged from the planet and we proceeded to have a brief engagement in which i was able to continuously strip his shields, but they would get recharged. After several minutes, the Apollo ran for its life, into the trade lane to Battleship Norfolk. when i attempted to follow, the police destroyed the trade lane ring nearest the planet and i was forced to cruise.
After returning into the orbit around the planet, the Apollo came back from its respite and ran into the Cambridge research institute, where it hid out while i proceeded to bombard the station.
He then made a mad dash for the planet and refused to come out again.
At that point i made new heading for Cadiz base, the omega-5 system, where we resupplied and refueled.
Most unfortunatly, i was unable to destroy either vessel, as again, both showed their adeptness at running quicky, aided by the police disrupting our cruise attempts.
Our stock of cruise disruptors have been replenished, and the weaponry on the Protreptic will be undergoing a major overhaul, as recent actions have shown our inability to unload a large enough amount of power through the current weapons systems, but enough yet to heavily damage the enemy.
Greetings, My Brothers. I have been having comm troubles for the past few days (read: snow + no power = no FL) but my crew has managed acceptable repairs... with a little encouragement, of course.
To Admiral Ant, aboard the Procrastinator; congradulations on your new vessel, extend my good wishes to your crew.
To the frigate Antarg; That had better not be on my account, thats expensive stuff you know.
To the Captain of the Protrepic; Read the following Orders, and move to engage.
New Orders for all: The Cylons have decided that they wish to infest this galaxy as well as their own, and I will not have it. Engage and destroy all Cylon ships, particularily in our own areas. For now, only engage the Colonials outside Bretonian Space, we don't want to degrade our current status with the SF. Any ships not engaging the Cylons or the CR, move to the Omegas and prepare for the next engagement.
Also, the Following units are reminded that they now reprot to Admiral Ant: RACS Protrepic, RAGB Victory, and RACS Frog.
One further thing, We have recently gained a new recruit, however due to my comm troubles I cannot find the name of his ship, so I will transmt it in as soon as I recieve it.
