There have already been allowances made for different factions. For example, the [TAZ] are not part of the group currently in the crosshairs.
That's been, IMO, the biggest issue. Zoners have 3 (or 4) seperate official factions on the server. Now there are edicts being issued from this 'Zoner Alliance' that isn't actually ANY of them, but is supposedly speaking for ALL of them.
That doesn't sound like a group of independant minded people to me.

Yeah it happens that little fast, but I think Zoner as well as Corsairs also posted it in the forums....
Means, 1. Attacks on the Zoners by [A]
2. Official report forwarded by zoner to sair Elder asking clarification..
3. Due to Zoner attitude in last few months (as my opinion) they ignore it & remain silent....saying let them learn a lesson.
4. Due to this they stopped all shipments of food & other supplies to the Corsair bases (Which they never sent in months), declared it Sirius wide....
5. IND approached to help the Corsairs...
6. So the Group of Corsair (which already hates zoner little bit) asked clarification for this.....
7. Zoners gathered the force near Freeport 1 with the assistance from Corsair enemies, spreading more hatred in Sair fleet...
8. Escalation of this resulted in the Omega 3 event, in which Flagship of Brotherhood got destroyed..
9. Both sides placed the Bounties on each others & hired Merc.. Started to hunt down each other....
Current situation is very tense & at anytime they may declare war against each others.....
//(as my opinion) Very good Situation for RP for both sides & also a big change for 4.86, as I was bored little by seeing the same story line for sairs from 4.84.......
Edit:- All his I learn from forum as I was not ingame when everything happened, I like this change, same as the Order one....
No use No relation....
Agmen, then there should be dealt with that 'Zoner Alliance' guys first and adding others if needed in the RP development.
But not issuing a somewhat war against all Zoners by an indy group is disruptive behavior imo.
I had a little break and i really do not care about private relations behind the curtain but would such 'war' be tolerated if issued by a group new to this community? I doubt that very much.
And that's where i got my problem here.
I could understand if the official corsair factions started this, but a newly formed indy group?
Guess that groups actions is tolerated becouse majorityfrom corsairs wanted something like this, but didn't had enough dedication to do it. I state my opinion as long term corsair player, member of black sails leadership and also as voice in the elders council.
This is only my opinion. Other might have some other viewpoints.
From what I've seen [A] surely aren't "Lololol dai zoner" if they managed to keep up with elder council.
Tensions were rising all the time. Council could stop them, but there is no reason they should do it. Q_Q in forums oorp instead of rp approach doesn't help it either.
Perhaps i missed something but i did not noticed unfriendly or even hostile tendencies with the Zoners.
Actually there were only a few officially traders who got pirated because they did not support Corsairs and those indys were already pirated anywhere. But afterall they were just a few.
And we (Corsairs and Sails) used FP1 as a repair spot anyway.
But I'm aware of all the private opinions towards particular Zoner players.
Sorry but that's not ok. And personally i do not understand this 'hate' toward Zoners.
Beside some few power traders i got no negative experiences.
I really do not understand this.
As I have written in my first post, the first short-term goal was to provoke the Zoners, make them angry. They will start acting irrational and make stupid mistakes which I will then try to capitalize on (reference: Halting food shipments and allying with factions hostile to the Corsairs). In my opinion, this would have only worked if we targeted all Zoners, made it look like it was a declaration of war, that would push them into a corner until they would in desperation seek out alliances, afraid of what is to come. Which is what has happened now. All of this fits in line with the background Role-Play, the very purpose of this Corsair-wing.
The [TAZ] have talked to the Corsairs and they have come to an agreement. Now the Corsair Council approaches me, saying that they can no longer silently support or ignore the [A]'s actions against the Zoners as a whole.
Therefore we adapted.
No longer are Zoner-transports carrying food/materials inbound for Corsair stations/planets a target of interest, and the [TAZ] as a whole are no longer our targets (check the blanket bounty to confirm this as well). Of course we are still allowed to defend ourselves should need be. But we are no longer actively hunting them.
All other combat vessels belonging to the Zoners are fair game.
Simple conclusions to simple-minded. It was rp. It is rp. Just other party is playing the music now. And someone can't get used to be thrown out of the boat.
And how long I need to repeat myself. Tripoli shipyard is in Lybia. Corsairs have their first shipyard named under name of Lybias shipyard. Lybia as you know has muslim/arabic routes from reconsquista times. Corsairs consists from all kinds of mediteran nations. Including arabs. It's all in rp. If arab warcry is Yalalalala it's okey to shout it out. Same as some of kusari men shouts "banzai"

As you were gentlemen.
Sorry my fault - it wont be happen again, I saw to many hate and killing those days...
' Wrote:So you just created a sub-corsair group to provoke the Zoners without even having played as regular Corsairs?
Did i understand this right?
"Why? It is simple. The Anarchists, did recognize the potential of keeping the Zoners as a trade-partner and saw the validity in it, but their leader, Saladin, who was formerly a Corsair who went by the nickname "Saladin the Sunkiller" (here) (please check the date to see that this character isn't just something I made a week ago)"
This is quoted from my first post if you bothered to read it.
