If it's not a discovery spinoff, why are you using Discovery faction leaders to write your lore? You're going to end up with a clone of disco's lore, most likely.

If it's not a discovery spinoff, why are you using Discovery faction leaders to write your lore? You're going to end up with a clone of disco's lore, most likely.

We asked them, but a different lore. We want new lore, not a clone. If we could post lore, you would see how different the lore we have that is currently written idiffers from Disco.

We wanted Faction Leaders help because they know the most about their factions and have more knwoledge on how to change the lore for another timeline.


I will say the only faction leader we have is Vlko really, and ai cant say anything else.

What he means is, people who play Discovery are coloured by how the factions here are presented. For example, ask someone from Discovery to write more Zoner lore, and you'll probably get the same crap Igiss produced, with a new scent layered over the top.

In lore, there was a disco reference. Project Lead demanded it to be taken out. If its Disco related, 99% of the time it is thrown out.

We are not wanting thst.

You'll likely end up getting it anyways if you grab lore from existing disco faction leaders.

Best to just write it yourself. Or create a new universe like we did and have a field day.

people who write are influenced by FREELANCER, not disco. the similarities might be results of logical progression with outcomes of some major events ending up differently.

Well, I wrote the OC lore, for example. And it was based (well, took most of it) on some of Jameson's ideas. Why? Well, he is one of those who know the OCs best. Also, what he wrote is indeed very different from how the OCs are currently. As a matter of fact, he tried to implement that here, but he was told "lolno". Go figure...
