No, but seriously. I guess that does complicate matters. I just see vast fields of complex RP potential in Omega-3 and Manchester and it sucks that they are going unused because the profit is actually terrible.

Hey, I am not lame!
But, I agree that Hydrocarbons are. Can't forget Tau-29 and Shikoku as possible mining areas also (Did someone say Nago Station and Fuchu Prison?). Turning off Hydrocarbons shouldn't really hurt anyway anyway, since they're just low value Polymers...
So, as the sole person on this server who has traded Hydrocarbons ever (yay Gateway?), I say full speed ahead!
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
So I'm a little new to the mining game, and after reading through all of this AND the guide, I'm still left with a few questions.
I'm flying a Mining ship, with a Daumann IFF and the Daumann Heavy Construction ID. I DO have the mining emitters. I've been in Omega-7 trying to find something to mine.
First question...do the new mining areas show up on the NavMap when I use the Mineable Zones feature? This question was asked earlier in this thread, but I don't think it was answered.
If not then I guess I gotta fly around farther off from stuff until I see rocks...
I was mining copper in one of the fields that DO show up in the Mineable Zones Map...and was getting very little. Am I doing something wrong?
Why there is no information about bonuses for helium in Pensylvania? You can sell it for a good price 550/unit not far away. Why there is so much talks about gold ore than is only 250/unit? And what ID,IFF is needed for minig in Pensylavania?
' Wrote:Why there is no information about bonuses for helium in Pensylvania?
Because nothing gives a bonus.
That said, I would suggest adding a "full" bonus for Helium and other low-profit commodities (like Water) to the Miner ID and maybe a few others. I remember a group a while back that was dedicated to trading water, and something like that could encourage such lower-profit ventures by making them at least reasonably quick. Because of the (comparatively) poor sale prices, it still shouldn't screw with the economy.
It could be argued, correctly, that it wouldn't matter much, but there's no real harm as far as I can tell.
What about the Fields in Liberty Space any changes at sight ? I was on my DSE Mining Ship in Colorado, in the Copper Field, after 10 Minutes or so i got something like 100 units and the Silver Field well even worse, so should i sell my DSE and make a new one (other corporation) ? or should i stick with the independent Miner ID ?
