When players are roleplaying, they do it for their own amusement, not in order to make community pleased. It is decision of community if they appreciate it, or not. If not, nobody forbids player or players to continue it between them unless it very heavily violates lore (it is not an entire legion made from such speciments, but a single character, given other attempts were semi-retconned).
I already made a solution in which players not willing to acknowledge the fact are not forced to accept it, while interested ones would be revealed actual in-dephts of the roleplay provided they give ooRP permission. Many people also mentioned new alien species, yet they failed to realize Cody is not entirely new alien species. He is a hybrid, a quite genetically possible entity allowed even in real-life modern science.
I presented a very strong basis for my hybrid roleplay, enchanced it and listened to criticism re-shaping it into more believable status - instead of making it so-last-year LSF/Cryer creation, I made it a creation of a madman unaffiliated with any faction. That creation is forced to live in fear and seclusion, forced to avoid direct face-to-face contact.
And if we are really going to argue about lore and what things are against it, I'm sure I would be able to point out many things in-game that are simply not fitting the established lore.
@nOmnomnOm Since it seems you are too lazy or simply heavily unable to read things properly, I will quote it once again. Here, I even underline the most crucial parts.

Once again, he does not reveal himself to anyone, except for the ones he can really trust - it being both logical and having ooRP purpose of not annoying the people.
However, for the very same people dozens of Rogue destroyers while Rogues barely maintain maybe just a few, criminals docking their caps on Rochester next to the Liberty authorities or Zoners trying to make politics while they aren't supposed to do so does not bother them at all, it being an actual violation of established lore.

What would breaks my immersion is the fact that people roleplay human-made AI, which does not exist in the lore and has not been established as a matter of fact. I have already pointed out things that are way more violates of the lore.
I bet I could make a rock-man with the same logic.
But in any case there are some things that I just cannot see happening with these biological mutation stuff. Next thing you know someone is going to RP the xmen?
You are more likely to get a better result if you rp the character in a furry suit as a sort of cult thing. Gaian. Lmao

There is no biological mutation. It shows how little focus you push into learning about details of the roleplay, stated three times on this thread, yet completely ignored it. With same approach, we should get rid of the Reapers - which were created by Alliance supersoldiers immune to majority of diseases and possessing extraordinary strenght, created to kill the Coalition over 800 years ago.
Edit: Seeing how several members of the community jumped onto same bandwagon, I assume they are actually bored and has nothing better to do on Discovery, given we already reached 13 pages in this nonsensical thread. Why not to take care of problems below, instead of BS regarding one character:

yes it shows.
I am not interested in your rp, toris.
Stop shuving it down and then trying to give shame to us for not reading what you wrote.
Some of us rather want to stay away and have it not interfere with our immersionz
yes a classic example of me ignoring your furry and instead focusing on the small positives (and also labor).
Just because I messaged you doesn't mean I agree with furrys.
