In case you didn't see, nobody was "demanding changes". We were proposing various things in a discussion thread and would like to get some feedback on the process, as it has been quite some time now. As in "I'd like to know too". Note: No-one said "I want this ID now!"
I'm inclined to go with JayDee, that it never has been or will be discussed, but I simply don't know. So for the sake of 14 pages of pros and cons, for the sake of avoiding more discussion and to avoid spending a lot of dev's time, a simple "We're working on it" or "Not gonna fly, and here's why" would work wonders. Maybe it isn't even in the devs' department, maybe it's the official faction that is stalling. Maybe no one in the right places are pushing for a fix. I don't know. I would like to know.
If we let this thread die and resurrect it in two months when we still haven't received any feedback, it will probably even get locked, and someone might get punished for opening a new one with the same purpose as this one. Your text is not at all useful, except if it is to be understood in the way that you hold knowledge that this has actually been discussed and is a priority, although a low one?

It's such an archaic way of going about things. Why all the secrecy, why all the institutions? If we have a discussion here in this thread, players can voice their opinions openly in their capacity as devs, admins, faction leaders and regular members. Things can be discussed thoroughly and in the open, and everyone will know who wants what and why. How would I even know how my secret player request will be dealt with and by whom? Make sure I contact one of the admins that I know "is on my side" via Skype first? Transparency will just save so much time for everyone as well as alleviate the high level of misinformation and preferential treatment that goes around. In this particular case, no one would have needed to post in this thread if we all knew where the suggestion is in the process or if it is not being worked on/discussed at all.

I have done it quite some months ago. I requested to add 3 stuff into Coalition ID
1 - allow to pew pirates along with navies/police
2 - allow to help neutrals, not just allies (gives coalition ability to defend civilian trader in trouble)
3 - allow to fly cruisers
What I got? Changes - none. PM that my request was taken into consideration? nope. PM that request was denied? Nope.
Only weeks after by skype friends I learned that admins said to this request "No". But did anyone said me this? As a person who put the request should I be contacted about its acception/denial?
And then you say "Be patient" @Shinju? Stuff team just decided to not inform me directly about anything. I know they have lot of work to do but ignoring player request this way doesnt work as exuse for being busy.

No, I don't know if this one has been discussed.
Player request alerts all Admins and Mods. That's all and I am done here.
Edit: JayDee, how am I supposed to know you've posted it already "some" months ago?

I'm guessing the big priority is working on buffing the sabre?
I mean an entire sector update is a small thing right? [:
Can we bring this topic back up again? I would actually love to see indies fly Typhoons if they so desire. At least a larger Coalition Playerbase would rise in this, like the Corsairs and you could've a weekly if not daily battles in Omega-5. I'm sure the Corsair playerbase would love to have more players to fight with. Speaking of Corsairs, it would also encourage having fights in Rheinland/Bretonia, as to those are regions where the Coalition is most active. Let's not waste or limit this oppurtunity, I'm pretty sure something good can rise up to this and it might even get at some point Omegas/Rheinland/Bretonia back up to speed.

Yeah but what Mimir proposed in the op is that Cruisers wouldn't be allowed into house space.
I wouldn't mind indies flying the Typhoon as long as it gets balanced out as it's pretty broken at the moment.

Not that I'm aware of. And the Phoon is already balanced out. XD It still dies horribly against anything bigger than it (Medium-Heavy) if you fly it like a nub and simply don't use it as intended.
As for Indies using it. Well I am now neither for nor against it. *shrug*
