I seldom get involved with anything Freelancer related but to the staff - you've created such a massive precedent with this warning that I honestly think this might be worth moving to a different game or a server. Using the most active faction as a scapegoat and punishing people for being active and playing the game is insane. Once again you have rewarded the wrong model and punished the model that actually keeps and retains new players.
You better believe that every unfair fight against DTR moving forward - be it a skill ace stack gank or a number gank is going to be reported. And there better be consequences. People playing the server make the server what it is. No people - no server. That's a simple reality.
Give me the liberty to know, to utter, and to argue freely according to conscience, above all liberties.
I seldom write in feedback or anything not related to light hearted content but it has to be said that this warning being issued to dtr and not to the entire playerbase is strange, the players and gameplay has changed a lot over the years and noone attempts to balance before engagements anymore and those that do are drowned out. The community as a whole needs a wake up call and this warning should be issued to everyone, change has to happen if the game is to become enjoyable for everyone.
I frown ganking, but it also depends on the situation.
If folk suddenly overlog for just a few ships, that's not ok.
In another situation however, if you are acting all tough as a single ship against a whole fleet, then get destroyed by said fleet, it's just bad rp from your side and you deserve what you get.
First I would like to thank the people who commented here for their mostly positive and supportive feedback! It is much appreciated by DTR and gives me hope that not all is lost in the discovery community.
Regarding the incident with Wilde/Nomads most have been said and discussed yesterday. I believe better communication between both sides via in-game messages before engaging could have avoided the situation that developed there. Unfortunately, that did not happen in this fight, but I hope we learn from this and try to improve as a whole community in the future.
DTR always tries to keep the game fun for all and give fair fights whenever possible. We may not always succeed in this, but we try and are humans after all that can make mistakes.

That being said I appreciate staff's decision to change the warning to DTR into a community-wide warning.
