And hell no on the 'pay per account'.

1) I create a new account for each new character (so if my pirate has a GB/bomber, they're on one account, separate from my trader) I have around 10 accounts. that's $100 easy.

2) I'm keeping 10 other accounts warm for someone. that's another $100.

I like this place, but $200 (how often?) is WAY too much for me.

Pay to play isn't a bad idea in principle, however I and many other players (I imagine) are college students, and as such are more concerned with spending money on food and subsistence than on Freelancer.

I like the idea of some nonmonetary restriction on play, but this community is quite frankly too small as it is, and adding restrictions would possibly reduce turnout.
