Heh... Anyway, I just realised the ship critieria was Hawks, so can I still use my 'Blazer in it's nerfed state? I would like to use it or will the fact it's not a vannila ship count against it?
I just think the Xenos should use a variety of ships to make em look less uniform and orginised. Plus the 'Blazer is a member of the 'Star' family, and really should be the ship NPCs use instead of the Hawk. I mean the Blazer is Liberty produced, unlike the Hawk which is Kusari produced so it would fit Xeno RP better. I suppose that was a bit off-topic...
Either way, I'm looking forward to the fight and will make a new Hawk character if I absolutly have to.
Anyway, Hawks, please.
LPI is using Patriots, not Blazers.
So, yes, nerfed Hawks, not nerfed Blazers.
At least that's my unofficial opinion. Zapp should clarify his will.

whoops, I kinda ment that Blazers should be used becuase they are Liberty not Kusari, I'll edit to clear that up. I suppose I'd better get on with making a hawk and getting the rep sorted then.

Ok people, this is "supposed" to start any minute now. Xing has volunteered to pilot the Defender.
Piranhas and other independents need to show up in space, as well as LPI and LH now!
Right now we have 3 LH Daggers, maybe a fourth coming, vs 2 LPI and Xing as the Defender pilot

A couple of notes about the event yesterday that we need to incorporate for the future.
1. Those Liberty Rogue NPCs threw things off, and zero Navy Defender NPCs were showing up where I expected them to around Willard. We should decide ahead of time to either have all players be hostile to all npcs by using CDs to achieve that, or just let whatever happens happen (and one side may end up getting owned by a random npc capship patrol). Or, we agree ahead of time to pause and move the fight away from the npcs.
2. We definately need a player nearby as a sentinel to warn off intruding players who want to join in. One of our Daggers was obliterated by a Battlecruiser that just waltzed in and started taking pot-shots with no warning whatsoever (it left after scoring that one kill). One of those indie caps sitting around NY ought to be drafted for this purpose.
I'm not sure how we should "score" that event. The Rhino was destroyed after it docked at Willard and launched again, and our last remaining fighter finally gave up trying to kill Matt Myers and just left at the end. Perhaps from an RP standpoint, both sides can claim victory for propaganda purposes?
LPI and Xeno next Sunday. Have fun!
Special thanks to Xing for supporting us on the spur of the moment with a much needed defector in a Defender.

The LPI always wins, even if we don't. Cuz if we all die, our escape pods are full of donuts and coffee. And if we all live, our ships are full of donuts and coffee.
But yeah, I was the last man standing. Came down to 1v1 between me and some other guy (Medea?) and he ran to Magellan. Was a lonely feeling...
Another problem was that we were all scattered all over the cloud. I say that it's best if we do tradelane-disrupts from now on, for the sake of simplicity.
