My jaw hit the floor and I figured you might've done a few typos with the zeros there, Praetyre. Though I agree, we should have a fine-system set up, but it shouldn't even be near that much.
I think the fines, imho, should max at like 25k for attempted murder.
That way the LPI chars will stay under level, otherwise there's really nothing to do with the cash gathered.

75 credits for a parking ticket and the like.
Since PvP is now enabled in NY,we'll also have Liberator chars.
Bad thing is I didn't get any of the equipment for the Liberators but the Adv. Debs, CM, and ..... thruster, I think. I'm gonna be handing out fat stacks of cash all day... geez.

@Xoria: Hope I'll meet some of the daggers myself. Where do you guys usually hang out?
@Ichtan: Try to get over level 30 even when you're flying the Patriot, being under level 30 is hiding and we sort of decided that we don't want to do it.
@Praetyre: Level 15 starflier pilot will definitely not pay 50 mill for selling light arms to Xenos. Wouldn't it be a better idea to have the fines based on how much contraband was the subject carrying, or perhaps change the fines to something more RPish like making him do public works, taking him to prison or a police station etc., there were many different ideas. Maybe not for the nomad stuff and more serious crimes but definitely for minor smuggling and pirating issues.
Thing is, the fines are meant to simulate the actual jail time you'd probably receive for such crimes. In any case, keeping pilots underlevel is a tactic I'd rather we not use.
It stunts roleplay, and uses the rules to create funnels of PVP possibilities. I'd rather we be realistic, since any criminal is going to attack the police if he wants to.
In real life, if you murder someone in the US, you get 25-life. The high fines are meant to simulate the extremely high price there is for crime in real life, that of months or years in jail. You might as well argue that we should reduce real life sentences so criminals don't try to escape prison.
Yes, but.. No one will pay.. Everyone will fight us.. And there's no point.
Being under 30. lvl is out of the question. I have my char on 32. lvl.
We don't want to be hiding from anyone, yes, we will most prolly be to tormented by high level VHF's and Gunboats, but who cares.
If they have fun killing Patriots, let them have it.
I will be creating Liberator soon as well.
No need to get weapons/shields/equipment on Storage for Liberators.
Because, Storage is mainly for new players who join, and they will be flying Patriots, right?
We can equip Liberators on our own, no problems there.
Did we or did we not agree on Liberator uniform loadout?
2 adv. debils and 2 vengeances?
With exception for missile users.
And please, try avoiding Cannonball missile launcher.
Why? Because it says in it's infocard that it is a standard military launcher.
Police would have a hard time to get one of those.
Yes, i know, we can't use Sidewinders, so we have a missile problem..
Don't know how to solve this :/
