Liberty Navy 46th Fleet Security Clearance: < GRANTED >
Sender ID: Captain Samantha Brown
Recipient ID: Megan Santiago
Subject: RE: Application Response
Miss Santiago,
I am Captain Samantha Brown and I speak on behalf of Command, as ordered by Vice Admiral Maria Uhmen. I am very happy to inform you that your request to join the Forty-Sixth Fleet has been reviewed and your application has been accepted. Your interest in being a part of the Merchant Marine is of utmost value, as the Fleet currently has on-going projects that in time shall require all the help we can get. Do not forget that eager pilots are the founding columns that shape us, and always remember that you are more important than you might think.
Regardless of this interest, I am certain someone with your educational knowledge is going to be a powerful asset on our side. Ensign Ashley Graham, now working aboard the Akhetaten was no different. We picked her up straight out of the academy due to being top of her year. In fact, Graham was the top graduate we've observed over several years. One can never get too high when climbing, Santiago, remember that and you will reach great heights in your career.
You will begin your career with the Forty-Sixth as an Ensign. The Forty-sixth will teach you the proud traditions of the Liberty Navy and give you all the tools you'll ever need to become a fully capable law enforcement officer above all else. The period you will serve at this rank will also double as a probationary period so that Command can assess your suitability to the Naval lifestyle, and ensure that you're on the right path to becoming an effective officer. On proper completion of your first After-Action Report (AAR), Command will review it as well as your performance.
I needn't stress to you the importance of your actions both on-duty, and off-duty. You represent an officer of the Liberty Navy regardless if you're in space or at a bar, remember that.
Please report to our headquarters on Norfolk Shipyard as soon as you are able to. You will be given assignments and you will be familiarized with your new working space, as well as the people that make up the Fleet. I wish I could meet you there personally to give you my face-to-face greetings and congratulate you, but unfortunately due to my duties I am unable to. Rest assured that my colleagues will take good care of you. Any further details you may require will be explained to you once you reach Norfolk Shipyard.
Congratulations, Ensign, you're a part of the Fleet now.

Why do want to join the Navy: I think that the Navy will serve me right, I am a woman of purpose and the Military will give me that purpose and those task making my drive to kick in
Requested Division: Main Fleet
Biography: I ain't got no amazing background story, but here is the little that I can tell you I came from a very good Manhatten Family, dad was metalurgical prodigy and mother besides being a saint of a woman, was an amazing teacher who enjoyed teaching mathematics to young and impoverished kids on her weekends. I on the other hand was such a rebelious teen, but I always had a sense in me that I needed order while seeking chaos. I did some bad things while posing up to the rought and tuff gangs since their flashy lifestyle attracted me and it seemd like I was rebelious, but you can't really be rebelious when your parent are ever loving and supportive, can you. Well before turning 18 and being able the enroll I rolled with those crews being quite good at what I was doing and somehow I felt that my purpose was not there, the sense of order, of structure of dedication was not there and one cold night two days before turning 18 I went to my father and told him that I want to leave my life behind, I want to join the Navy. And from there turned my life around, dedicated to my studies and to my dream, to that eternal chase of the achivement , that rewarding of merit, that structure. West Point for me was not that prodigy story, it was hard for me and I can say that it broke me multiple times, but I hanged in there, never thinking of what I am doing now, but of what I will be doing, how I will be going on to achive my dreams and that has carried me untill my graduation. I have given you such a small story from my life since I can confidently say that my childhood was amazing, but then I no longer want to remember my teenage years, I think something changed in me and that foolish girl that wanted to be who she wasn't, now can stand high and proud in the recruiting office fighting for who she will be and how she will chase that life and fight for it, work for it and make sure that for the first time in her life she fight with purpose. Miss Simons,
You've certainly an interesting background. Certainly seems like you were able to turn things around for the better. I am pleased to inform you that your application has been accepted, but on a conditional basis.
You will begin your Naval Career with the Forty-Sixth as an Ensign, where you will be taught the proud traditions of the Liberty Navy and the Forty-sixth Fleet. Become brushed up and fully educated in Liberty Law and will remain as such until you become fully and well established within the Fleet and to her Officers. This will also double as both a brief probationary period to assess suitability to the Naval lifestyle, as well as to ensure we can set you on the right path to enable you to effectively serve within her ranks. On suitable completion of your first After-Action Report (AAR), Command will review both your performance in the field and your report. Should both be satisfactory, you will be removed from your probationary period and likely promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade.
Report in to our Headquarters, Norfolk Shipyard, for assignment and familiarization. You'll meet the officers you'll serve aside and those who will command you and they'll give you a briefing as to duties and expectations of you, now that you are assigned to a Primary Fleet of the Liberty Navy. You'll then be taken to the Quartermaster, who will assign you to a fighter-craft and all pertinent equipment that you'll need.
Welcome to the Fleet, Ensign Simons.

Subject: Liberty Navy, 46th Fleet Application
Qualifications: Graduated from West Point Academy. Basic flight and combat training.
Why do want to join the Navy: Liberty is my homeland and I want to serve and protect its resources and its citizens.
Requested Division: Main Fleet.
Biography: I was born on Planet Los Angeles. My family, starting with my grandfather's generation, worked on the factory floor of the Synth Paste company. I grew up in a lower middle class neighborhood and spent my teenage years wandering with my friends through the city's central streets where commerce was bustling. It wasn't long before we got our first job at a port helping to control incoming or outgoing goods on the planet.
We saved up some money and with the help of family members we bought a small transport ship and began to execute small contracts outsourced by Universal Shipping. We made many deliveries in Liberty territory and border territories. When we arrived at a destination, we would hang out in bars, just like other freelancers, waiting for arrangements for the next delivery. In these places, it was normal for there to be many rumors, as people brought and took news across Sirius. And the subjects that appeared most were new smuggling routes, the increase in piracy, and the political and economic tensions between nations that arose due to conflicting economic interests.
Over time, the routes became more dangerous with more and more pirate attacks. I began escorting deliveries and ended up getting into several fights with pirates. Usually they were just raids that they made to make sure that the prey was an easy target. When they realized that there was a willingness to defend the cargo, they usually gave up.
It was working to defend deliveries against pirates that began to awaken in me a deeper desire to protect the territories and citizens of Liberty. So I sold my share of the business and entered the academy at West Point.

1.Please name 2 (two) restricted areas in Liberty : Alaska and Zone 21
2.Name 4 major big contraband items that are listed in Liberty Law : Cardamine, Xeno Relics, Nox, Hessian Tears
3.If you spot a ship carrying Naval Equipment (guns) what would you do if their ID is not Navy : I would check if the ship has a special license for the especific equipment. If it does not, I would issue a fine, register the ship on the blacklist of ships with restricted equipment and notify the ship's Captain that if after 3 days the ship was inspected again and still had restricted equipment, it would be confiscated.
5.You have stopped a Trader carrying Cardamine, what do you do with this individual and why : I would order the cargo to be ejected and impose a fine. I would register the Captain on the list of illegal product trafficking. Repeated offenses will result in arrest and seizure of the ship. The ejected cargo must be collected and taken to the evidebce warehouse.

Mister Hines,
I am Captain Samantha Brown and I've been instructed by Vice Admiral Maria Uhmen to handle your application, on behalf of her.
I'm happy to announce, on behalf of Command, that your application to the Forty-sixth Fleet has been reviewed accepted. You appear to have correct ideals and a noble cause, and we are in no position to deprive you of the life you seek as a law enforcement officer.
Seeing the results of your candidacy trials aboard West Point is definitely promising, but you surely have a lot to learn. Of course, that isn't mentioned to discourage you; the Fleet will be by your side every step on the way and we will help you in any way we are able to.
You will begin your career with the Forty-sixth as a Cadet, with many things to learn ahead of you. Besides familiarizing you with the proud traditions of the Liberty Navy and the Laws of the Republic, the Fleet will provide you with all the tools you'll ever require in order to be a fully capable officer. While you're a Cadet - and later on an Ensign - Command will actively be assessing your suitability to the Naval lifestyle, as well as your progress in order to ensure that you're walking along the right path to becoming an effective asset not only to ourselves, but to the Republic as well.
I won't bore you with too many details on this channel. Proceed to our headquarters on Norfolk Shipyard for further debriefing, our officers aboard will explain the rest to you as well as answer any possible questions you might have.
Congratulations, Cadet. Welcome to the Forty-sixth Fleet.

Why do want to join the Navy: Career progression
Requested Division: Main Fleet Biography: Nothing special or extraordinary to say about my military training on West Point. Theory isn't something I excel on, simulated training environments also, but the repartition on a Liberty Naval Ship changed everything. The Vespucci campaign gave me the opportunity to prove what I was able to achieve. I'm certain you would agree that no training in Sirius can prepare you for an all out war, and that's where captains are made. Due to my results in the art of war, I managed to climb up the ladder, having served of distinguished vessels of the Liberty Navy, from the humble LNS-Defiant, and up to the LNS-Overlord, of which I still hold command today. On the political approach, I can say I'm aligned with all that the Republic of Liberty stands for, and we have a common view of it's approach to the internal and external threats that we are facing. I am also aware that any mission that the LSF can't solve it will have to dealt with in the old fashioned way by the Liberty Navy. As of such, I am I'm looking forward on continuing to promote the Republic's values wherever the need arises.

Commander Taylor,
Seldom do we receive a lateral transfer request from the First Armada; to which you are the first. They've kindly sent over your service records in preparation for your request.
You've certainly had a prosperous career with the Armada, but your application is most welcome - I believe you will make a fine addition to the Officers of the Forty-sixth. Being a lateral transfer, you will retain your commissioned rank from the ranks of the Secondary Fleet, currently as Commander. Despite your former experience in commanding the Overlord-class Dreadnought, the Forty-sixth is more stringent on such assignments. As such, you may take command of up to, but not exceeding a battlecruiser; namely, the Interdictor or Akhetaten-class. This isn't to say that you aren't capable, but more so internal doctrine and protocol that will be enforced and observed by all officers under my charge.
Please note, Commander, you will be joining us at mid-command level. There will be officers junior to you in rank and they will conduct themselves in a manner conducive to proper naval etiquette. You may have, somehow, found yourself on the Admiralty Board of the First Armada, as a Commander, but in the Fleet, respect will be earned - and this will extend both ways. You want career progression, you've come to the right place, but here we do things properly.
Welcome to the Fleet, Commander.
