Maybe your right, I was just going by the mining guide, What ship are you using? Hegemon would lessen this problem the best.

On the other hand, if theres going to be a rollback, not much point mining atm.

Hehe, well the main idea of this, its to not need to release your little cargo, just increasing the dropped ore size.

I know its more dangerous than releasing continuously (all ores will be in the same ore and it will be more easy to destroy or stole) but the main problem its about MINING TIME.

If its not possible to use the dropped ore as a ship cargo (target it and refill it), mabye just adding to MULTIPLAYER keybinds a key for release all cargo, that would be help saving time also.

Ive never heard of anyone mining like that. seems a bit stupid to be honest.

If any admin or player want to know what I mean, your all are invited to Pennsylvania, Helium cloud to see how I work mining.

This is an example what i mean. Collecting ores for the traders.

This is a bit annoying, always hitting them, using a lot of space on space and making hard to shoot rocks through the mined ores hehehehehe.

Would be good, the feature for the miners to can target the dropped load and keep mining directly like a ship cargo hold.

Would be possible?.

NEVER mine like that, its just asking for trouble, all that floating ore, it'll only take a fast cruising transport or pirate ship to zoom by and take it all

ore clouds are only worth it if you got a constant stream of transports no more than 4-5 mins away. Scum bag pirates love watching for lonely miners and now you've just told them where you are and who you are.

As I said before

What ship are you using? It's only worthwhile dropping the ore in space in the absence of transports if you are using a Hegemon or Annapurna. If you are using any other smaller generic mining ship then you should only fill up transports (or fill up another miner in one of those 2 ships I mentioned).

It is only worthwhile dropping ore in space like that if you are in an Annapurna or Hegemon. I don't see how inRP a smaller ship could do as your asking. Closest would be if they were to drag and drop some large container and filled it.

If you fly a smaller ship with better defences, to balance it out, you get a smaller cargo hold and can't effectively drop ore like that while transports aren't about. And I think that is how it should stay. If you want to keep dropping ore like that, get a bigger ship. And always be aware of the dangers or people stealing ore, or pirates holding your dropped stuff for ransome.

Really i dont care if there are ship picking it up... because im just mining for free for everyone, so everyone can pick it up. If you want to send a donation its welcome (not required)...

My intention, its just to help others, donations are welcome but not required. So if you want to bring here your ship and pick up helium, you are welcome!.

In resume, newbies are not experienced, so its better they can use tractor beam at cruise speed and avoid Bad guys... (a lot of these last days, and also Cheaters!).

Thats my task. Mining for free and bring them all my help. So thats why I need this feature/dropKey.

Also, mining in a hegemon i get less ores using his 10 turrets than using my Arrastra with 5, why?
