I will just test something tomorow (If my PC can be reformated quite fast) about them.

If I am right, it should be something easy to do, since 'texts' for bribes are somewhat pre-written (like a version for unlawfuls, a version for lawfuls, etc)

Editing bribes, rumors and news need to be organized and, yes, balanced.

Sadly there are a huge amount of wrong NPCs, bribes, rumors and news at the new stations as i noticed while reworking Hiroshima with KNF.
I think all the old news and rumors need to be removed or edited according to Igiss' storyline.
And all the new stations need to be checked and edited.
But this is a hell of work and needs to be organized.

Flexplorer is nice,,,,but BUGGY. I try to use it as less as possible (mainly as a viewer now)

If I need to insert a lot of objects, I try to edit or add them manually

The Xeno Guard system has rumours, Mr. Thacker renamed al load of the NPCs after clan members (I think Caeon Lewis is in there somewhere, but now I've gone AWOL, I don't really deserve it) and assigned about four rumours to each named NPC. I wrote a fair few of them, but they may have been dropped or edited, I haven't checked the XA forums for a loooong time now after all.

I don't really know how the rumours thing works in terms of the .ini files, so I would obviously need someone to put them into the correct code on the correct bases, if someone is willing to help do that. I can offer an added incentive by paying people with ingame cash for helping out if its really necessary.

Either way, I and others can write the infocards and rumours, but the information needs to be properly coded to be able to just hand to Igiss to implement (thus saving him extra work). I was thinking of setting up a chat room on Skype to deal with this so we can organise it more effectively.

If anyone wants to make a start creating a list of stations/bases that need proper rumours/bribes/NPCs and/or infocards edited/added/changed, then that too would be good.

All guard systems, for starters, as well as Newcastle, Omicron Eta, Munich, and Tohoku.


And the Wilderness bases need to be distinguished from Battleship Westfalen, right now they offer missions against the Wild, as well as having ALG and RM NPCs.

Actually the Wilderness needs a whole slew of fixes, but those are along these lines.

Hirschfield in Omega-58 as well, it has the same problems (just not as obvious since you can only dock there with the help of IFSO or flhook).
