That's okay - Corsairs are good and powerful enough to produce their equipment in sufficient numbers. Small and puny organizations like Xenos don't - they don't have a bigtime factory like Tripoli or an income source like Cardamine.

However, let's not misunderstand eachother - a Xeno will use whatever he finds and shoots wether it is an effective killer or not, wether it matches his other weapons or not - I'll go further - his loadout should NOT be convenient or effective! He's a poor rebel, not a navy pilot whose ship has optimized, matching and top-notch weapons.

Actually, its possible (I think) for NPC's to drop weapons that aren't mounted, I mean, the Nomad NPC's drop cannons and blasters, but they aren't mounted,right?

I think they only drop weapons that aren't mounted.

Yes, scan a Nomad BS for example, it always has a Blaster and Cannon.
If it gets destroyed, it drops it.
Well, it would drop it, but the explosion of the BS spreads damage to the guns, so sometimes there are no guns, sometimes even both.
