I never cheated except in Single Player. And I'm sure that Gunobats Guns can be mounted on Battleship cause I did the same when I had a Dreadnought (that makes 2 or 3 months) and nobody complained about it.
The other thing is Darkstar who's complaining about my guns... Did he see he had a Battlestar and we had to be 2 on him to be able to kill him?
I don't like those Battlestars with quasi-unlimited power/energy !

I wasn't complaining.
I was asking why 2 characters (that as far as I knew) had been on for less then a week had both gotten osiris' and a load of cerebrus turrets. Now that I know why theres no need to keep bringing it up.
The point we're trying to make is that just because you can mount gunboat forward guns on a BS doesn't meant that you should.
The huegenot use to be able to mount 2 cruiser forward guns on it's gun mounts, that got changed as soon as igiss was told, to preserve the balance.
Battle-stars do not have unlimited energy, if they fire for longer then you can it's either because the player(s) are using different cap-ship weapons or possibly fighter weapons or they are only using a few turrets and not all of them.
Yes the Battle-stars might have more energy to start with but thats because they have 2/4 extra turrets they can use.
The osiris and dreadnought are both easier to guide/steer through asteroid fields then the other BSs, including the battle-stars, are.
As ships are tagged LNS maybe you should consider posting in the faction page (this is just a suggestion) that your an organisation so that everybody can see why your tagged and what your goals are, even if they're just RP ones.
You probably had to go 2 on him because your only using forward guns and cerberus turrets. You need inferno cannons and battlerazors to take on a battlestar. And if I had seen your dreadnaught with forward guns on it 2-3 months ago I still would have complained. If I do so any ship doing what your doing I will switch to a freelance, pirate, or phantom char and shoot you down until Igiss states on the forums that it is allowed.
I think it's that the NPC Britonian Battleships get the primary turrets. Those have the same Giant-White-Ball-'o-Doom look as the Battle Razors and Gunboat Guns. By the way, it is generaly not a good idea to go off and try to fight someone with the ADMIN tag. They can, and if you push them far enough will, stick you in a starflyer, no weapons, no money, hostile to everyone, and stick you on The Lost Battlestar. Or Yaren.
And anyway, the reason you were getting your ass' kicked is that
A) You were at Belfast. As i'm sure you noticed, the Mollys swarm at Belfast.
B) I was using 4 Inferno turrets. One salvo from those takes down 50% of a battleship shield.
C) I used Battle Razors, the most destructive hull turrets in the game.
And another thing, the Battlestar does not have limmitless energy. I have four Battle Razors. When I used them against you, I was only using one or two at most because I had used all my energy with the Infernos taking down your shields.

However, the next one hurt. You say we called you a cheater. If I remember correctly, you were the one who said I used F1 and Botts/Bats. That is a lie, and you know it. I resent being called a cheater, and I find it compleatly uncalled-for and offensive especially because it's not true.

Is it just me, or is the only time anyone else will fight us (The Phantoms) is when they have superior numbers? Like 2:1 ratio for them. I suppose it's a monument to how good we are.

As far as the Gunboat turrets on Battleships.. I don't like it. Why? Same theory for Cruiser Forward Guns on a Battleship. It gives the battleships more power to take on enemy ships and unbalances them to a point.
Gunboat forward guns were designed to allow a gunboat to take on bigger targets, like Cruisers. Same w/ cruiser forward guns. Mounting either on a Battleship is just asking for those of us who have found good combinations to scream UNBALANCED (how many times have you guys said that anyway LOL).
Gonna discuss this with the admins...
