Who said they are not obligated to roleplay with you before they shoot you?...
Their ID.
I don't know about the Wilde ID, but at least for the Nomad IDs, there are many systems in which they can just start shooting at you; they don't need to say a word.
Combined with their infinite cloak, the Noms are being given a free pass to sneak up on people and insta-gib them.
I don't understand how the admins can be so two-faced about this. On one hand, they sanction the crap out of people for not RPing before pew, or not RPing enough before pew. But then they turn around and justify the alien-faction players pewing without a word with 'space is dangerous, deal with it'.
Wild and Nomads are mysterious. Nom's aren't human and Wild...well, human in form, not in mind. See, they're supposed to be the scourge of Sirius and therefore they're going to have abilities that the human race have not. This might make them seem a bit overpowered but really it's just whether you play for RP or balance. It's all also very much in the hands of the pilot who's playing that character. They're not impossible.
Protip: When you know (no doubt you'll have checked the player list) there is a wild or nomad in the system. It's quite simple really. Don't sit still. You're asking for it.
