Read again. Spec Ops ID will continue to exist. Only the SRP who have it purely for tech compatibility get the original faction ID since there is a new plugin that deals with exactly this.
So now there's an official game machanic that will give people PvP advantages that others cant see ingame. Can't say I like it. But still better than the "unofficial" mechanics that did the same. Or maybe not. In other news, Silver Reaver just came back from an extended holiday.
