Yes it does look a bit stocky like a bomber, even though my design was actually a mix of a TIE interceptor and a Cavalier, both of which are light ships... but I think Unseelie' suggestion would fit bretonia best.
It looks too much like a TIE for my tastes, whilst I can see the Bret, I see the Wars more. Why base it off a TIE in the first place? Why not just taking all your inspiration from the Bret line, would fit more in my honest opinion.
I like the fighter, I just don't think it fits enough with the Bret line of ships to go in. Bret ships look like fish.
Saint Del is considered a holy healer of diseases of children, but also as a protector of cattle.
I think a decently maneuverable HF would be perfect. 5 level 9 slots would be nice, but with the way you've played the weapon plates (3 on each wing), maybe 4 level 9s and 2 level 8s? Step up from the Hussar's 2 9s and 2 8s, and a big step below the 10s and 9s on VHFs.
Its mostly because of the Cavalier' cockpit look. I thought it looked awfully like a TIE. so I thought, bah why not. Added up the vertical wings so typical of the TIE, but really otherwise its quite bretonian like. I even sculpted the wings to be somewhat crustacean armor-like.
I like the design, it looks Bretonian enough to me. The armor plates are unusual, but not out of place. It looks quite robust. Only the engine exhausts I am not sure about. They are a bit hidden in the pictures, so I can't really tell. Maybe a picture of that part? Pretty please.
