I second this, although I see them more so as 'combat freighters'. Gameplay wise I've never had more fun with this ship, and I was not expecting it at first.

However I love the new X-shuttle 'flying' wise, just wish you could put 1 missile/torp on a freighter, without having to sacrifice a CD. Same with the Pelican. Can't win 'em all I guess!
