And that it indeed does. A nomad sentence without symbols will look a lot more 'normal' than without. For the sake of making it look different, symbols are used. What they are? It doesn't matter. As long as people don't go overkill? I see nothing wrong with that.
Adding a lot of symbols seems like "the easy way out" to make it look foreign (see the response below) that doesn't really add any real intelligence to the RP.

Quite frankly, I don't like it when people do this. It's taking the easy way out. It's possible under a few circumstances, fine. However it's not what Nomads are seen to do. No change. Learn the talk. Yes, you can give visions. I'll explain restrictions of the topics when I get to a higher revision number, and actually type up 'why' each thing written in the guide is there. There are reasons things are the way they are.

You said "learn to talk". That's pretty much the central issue. You cant really learn to talk nomad if you don't add real nomad grammar, but only random symbols. And if you can learn to talk nomad, why cant the nomad learn to talk human. Also see response above.

Yet again, it seems I need to write up the explanation half of the guide pretty soon. Things enclosed within ( ) is not what you are feeling. Instead, it is a projection into the other humans head.
For example, say you include (hate) in your sentence. What this means for the human, is while he/she is speaking, a wave of the hate overcomes the human. It's not what the alien is feeling. It's what the alien is projecting into the 'human' to depict what is felt.
Every time I saw the word "amusement" in a nomad's RP ingame (and I saw it way to often imho), it definitely appeared to be something that the nomad felt. That's gives the impression of a human teenage-fantasy-of-superiority-and-I-just-have-to-tell-you-about-it sort of RP. To me, at last, but I doubt it somes across much differently to most other people. It gives a sort of puniness to the nomads. I still think nomad RP would benefit greatly if this sort of things was removed.
EDIT: It its supposed to be something that the human is supposed to feel, the nomad who says it should make sure the player who reads it understands that. That doenst happen when its just put in parenthesis. Actually understandable would be *you feel a surge of anger*. For example. Really going to sleep now. Good night.

I intended this to be feedback upon the guide itself. Not a room for debate on what Nomad talk should be like.
The Nomad talk is not going to change. If you would like an explanation on why that is, keep an eye on the thread until I put up a few more revisions with more content. I'll explain why things the way they are eventually.
