if you need any cardamine, look for the Outcasts
If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor

4. What's the go with "faction tags"? Understood, one can join player faction, for $$$. But I've heard mention of joining NPC factions? Howz that?
9. Any "gentleman's" rules with PvP? (besides none in NY and <lvl.30). Will a player announce "I shall kill you now", or just start shooting? I mean, are we talking Marquess of Queensbury or sucker punch from behind.
10. What's the etiquette with another guy's loot? I saw some guy blow up so many NPCs, the space was littered with loot, much more than he could carry. Is it rude to feed off his table scraps? Ok I wouldn't tractor the captain's lifepod or a Cerberus turret, but that worthless H-fuel would mean alot to a low-level player.

3). LMAO = laugh my ass off, LOL/lol = Lots of Laughs, ROFL = roll on floor laughing, I think thats all of them. If your not sure what someone means ask them.
4). You can be paid to join a player faction or you can work towards getting an NPC faction tag, though I'm not sure how.
9). Mostly it's anything goes that isn't listed in the rules as cheating. If you arrange a PvP with someone then you can make up your own rules.
Pirates are required to warn other players BEFORE they shoot, terrorists just shoot first.
I make it a point not to shoot anyone under lvl 45 though, unless they shoot me first.
And remember if your under lvl 30 and group with someone over lvl 30 your fair game.
10). I personally prefer it if players ask first, though there are some who just hang around and hit the tractor button, lazy buggers.
Though I don't mind as long as you leave me the lifepods, you can have the rest.
If you see any player ships in NY shooting up the NPC BS patrols then try to keep about 500m away.
Because if they are using flak turrets everything within 500m of whatever gets hit also gets hurt.
I've been mildly miffed by one-shot weapons since their implementation, oh so long ago. I remember the days when fights were a matter of who could aim better, rather than who could aim a single shot. - Virus

hey, I don't mind if you have the rest but those lifepods are why I shoot up BS patrols.
Another couple of short-hand bits: JG = JumpGate, JH = Jumphole, NB/SB- bots/batts = nanobots and shield batterys :D
