Well honestly, screw shooting the pirates and protecting the innocents. There are no innocents if you are not supporting the revolution already! There's enough white knight factions around.

I want to just shoot every un-revolutionary greedy bastard out there, for the revolution of course. Traders included, but I'm not getting my hopes up on that one Smile IC? Pls?

wut. That's the problem you miss. Officials are here to guide Indies, but without indies, what good are the officials? Yes, RP whise they can just continue their relations and all ok. But indies are always the "potential" or "interested" ones that needs official guidance so they can have fun playing this Faction. If you just restrict it that hard, noone will be interested because they can't freely live their Coalition RP they get from the Lore.

It's not about Official ID > Indie ID , the current Coalition ID is stupidly very restricted in order to any other indie IDs.

I dont see a difference between RHA idnie ID and Official ones. Tasks the same, playing alone always.

Also, I agree that the Coalition indie ID needs more freedom. (And JayDees suggestion of indie cruisers has my support aswell, but thats because im a capwhore Big Grin )

I recently wopndered why the coalition ID is only good for ... propaganda features. You can't shoot anyone, you can't do much, you can fly around and anoy the hell out o' people with propaganda talk, or chase local military/police, untill indies show up in their caps ...

As an exapmle, Coalition ( npc faction ) is friendly to IMG, but it can't fullfill IMG blanket bounty against Corsairs, OC , JM and smugglers, cause the ID sais only police and military ...

I would like to play as a coalition pilot, but entirely how the SCRA makes it, and here comes the trick, if I don't have the SCRA ID, I can't do what I'd like, but if I'm in the SCRA , I'd have to stick to the factions story.

It's easier to SRP Terrorist ID. AND PLEASE, we don't need indies with Cruisers shooting all lawfuls SIRIUS-WIDE.

Edit: Add just can attack OC, CC and protect Transports. That's all it needs

We also have near sirius wide Outcast cruisers, yet you dont hear much hassle about those too. And seeing how you get ganked like hell should you take your cruiser to the active places, i personally dont see much trouble in allowing them.

EDIT: If you fly a coalition, your basically just a big target with a 'SHOOT ME!' sign on yourself. That is my experience at least.

@Oldum beeing hired as merc would go against the cause anyway Big Grin you re a socialist/communist hiring to kill or claiming bounties would go against the ideology BUT! But protecting them as in attacking their enemies, mostly Outcasts / Sairs and other Pirate factions like rogues, Unioners, Farmers, Hogosha, that's what you cant do with your current iD. So promising protection as a cause of propaganda is just empty words. Because when it comes to it, your ID doesnt allow you to engage and all you can do is watch how the one which supports your cause gets rekt by thiefs and all because your iD doesnt allow to engage pirates.

And hey ITS A DAMN COALITION of many nations. It doesnt matter if they re small, they represent whole nations, thats if Liberty, rheinland, kusari, bretonia unites and are not able to protect people from pirates aswell as deploying Caps when needed.
