also, If I steal my neighbors wireless, I can see the server but it lags to much, the ping is 1000, so I am relatively sure I am suffering from some sort IP ban

Don't see how the second one can work, as if your IP is banned you don't get as far as trying to log in - the server just doesn't appear.

No longer active online due to a dwindling amount of non-PvP (trading, pirating, mining, etc.) fun in the new version.
