Oh god, Huggie. There are a few things that are nice to know, like the trivia about what comes from other mods and the past of Keepers and all that. But what the hell is wrong with you? You literally cried two hours about not being the only one in charge of the nomad lore. I first thought "Okay, if he refrains from writing it, I can listen during powertraging. Oh, hi Omi. Yes, here five millions." and so I listened. And practically, it is literally you being butthurt about the faction system, then apparently you haven't read the faction write-up with fully understanding - like you point out things in the first ten minutes that you have a misconception about. Later you accuse Foxglove of selling out K'hara with twenty people (where are they?) for starting a new nomad faction instead of making the Vagrants a K'hara thing, which simply would have saved you your throne as K'hara tyrant.
You repeatedly claim that the Vagrants are not fitting the nomad lore how you see it with concepts hidden somewhere in your mind and unavailable pdfs. You also claim that your years of efforts were thrown into a trashcan. That is not the case. As I said, the Vagrants intention is not to be the better K'hara. Get that in your head finally, because after listening to your whining and being directly refered to in your rambling, I'm a little bit triggered.
Basically, the most stupid thing you could have ever said is "I have no desire to work with Foxglove" - that's literally the point where you admitted this is all about your ego being hurt by the fact that you're suddenly not the K'hara overlord anymore. My got, if anyone deserves a sandwich break, it is you right now.
Man up, Huggie. Reread the Vagrant Write-up, stop blaming Spazzy for doing nomad spawns that "take away the reason for K'hara to exist" and get K'hara back on where it once was instead of crying about something that isn't based on your concepts. It's a community, and you should leave place for other people to contribute to it. That is only fair. And now that this has happened, stop being a child and finally reach out for Foxglove. You said it yourself: The community needs adults, and you should act as one here.
TL;DR: The Vagrants are fully justified to exist, even within Discovery's current nomad lore. Make a reality check on yourself and accept it.
Everyone, calm the hell down. Especially you two.
...
We are now calm a little? Yeah? Good. As a third-party, I'll speak my opinion.
I am certain that both the K'Hara lore and Vagrant lore can co-exist together, as the respective factions can. They can be described as the two faces of a same medal (full of sadistic tentacles, y'know).
One side, the K'Hara. They have knowledge and evolution. They have adapted to counter the humans.
The other side, the Vagrants. They can be described as the old version of the K'hara, as they are more archaic. They also don't have the knowledge the K'hara have.
I know both lores, and they have a common point in between them: the events of the Dyson Sphere. We all know what happened in there, yes?
For those who don't, I'll briefly tell you: the Order forces, led by Trent, Juni, and King, successfully defeated the Nomads inside the Sphere. And Trent's artifact activated, and opened the so-called Hypergate. This, in a nutshell.
Some Nomads died, some survived in Sirius, others barely survived outside of Sirius.
Those who survived, sought a new haven where to muster their forces, heal their wounds, rebuild the Mindshare, and evolve. Those are known as the Slomon K'Hara. They achieved new and more deadlier forms to counter the ever-growing human presence in the Omicrons.
We all know the K'Hara, no doubt on that. Telepathy, visions etc. Usual nom stuff.
Those who barely survived away from the Sirius Mindshare became the Vagrants. They have a disadvantage compared to the K'Harans: the knowledge. They remained archaic, like those of the Nomad War. They seek knowledge from K'Harans to learn and evolve.
You might ask: where are you hinting at?
Simple. These two factions make players see two sides of nomad RP. K'Hara| and Vagrant. can help each other, with the Vagrants supporting the K'Hara with what they can spare, and the K'Harans, in kind, help them learn.
Ending: Work together. Make stuff together. I am sure that both leaders (Foxglove and Huggie) will be able to overcome everything in order to enchance nomad rp experience. Give it a try, I know something will work out! (Especially you, Huggie!)
