I'm all up for more ideas. I think the amount of enemy npc's needs to be reduced too. Especially the strong ones. But for that we need to find a solution where not everyone and their mother unites.
OUTCOME
The Midnight Runner failed to reach its destination, and the Cultist Cruiser that harassed it was destroyed. The Syndicate is displeased, and has withdrawn into the shadows once more. Cultist sightings have dropped considerably.
The real impact of these actions will be realized in the weeks to come.

With emphasis on the second quote. These events need a better way of handing out rewards. Otherwise they're just one hour long "hold RMB until it dies" with no rewards whatsoever for ~90% of the participants. It's plain annoying, to put it lightly.

Good luck lol.
In the video I'll upload tonight you'll see at one point I got shot by LNS and Coalition caps together on my Rogue, all because nobody else was willing to shoot the liner. Almost everyone wanted to be the nice guy and protect the convoy which is why we end up with such ooRP scenarios. Without NPC help I wouldn't have managed to blow up the runner, we need more bad guys for these events.
I don't suppose the next event could be at a time more friendly to folks here in the U.S.? This event was announced and took place all between 2-5 AM and 5-8 AM, depending on your time zone. That's while most people would either A: Be asleep or B: Working the graveyard shift.
I don't like to be "that guy" who complains, but most of the events that take place seem to cater towards those in European time zones. I'm not rich, so buying Sci-Data is out of the question, and thus my alternative would be to attend events. But, how am I to attend if they all happen while I'm asleep or at work?

I'd rather say we need more people actually playing their own roles.
