People should not be considering making pobs easier to supply and build. We already have more pobs than players. We don't need more. As it stands a newly placed base can survive up to three months without being supplied once. A fully stocked core 1 base can last much much longer.
However, without the rework, not much of this, or any of it it, will change, making this thread somewhat redundant.
The plugin was changed for the different repair logic. I was the one who changed it. (Unless you mean the recent one, at which point that was a value update)
I agree that bases should be expensive and laborious to construct, intrinsic value being invested. They must also reflect the expense and commitment by being tough to destroy.
This is an exercise in curiosity, me doing the 1 hour tests.

no no, it's hard enough, maybe a base for young players who want a base, this one, yes, 3 3500 RA per day to see the motivation. And of course, if it's the congestion in the server that poses a problem
Originally, a Base would repair at a rate of 60,000 HPs per 20 seconds per Repair Material (RM) x the Core Level of the Base.
ie. Core 1 would repair 180,000 HPs per 20 seconds if it had all 3 RMs supplied to it.
It was then reduced to 6,000 HPs per 20 seconds per RM x the Core Level of the Base. At the same time the Base HPs were increased by a Factor of 50.
Just recently, it was changed again, as per this Announcement:
Therefore now, a Base will repair at a rate of 2,000 HPs per 20 seconds per RM x the Core Level.
I believe that a newly placed Base has 5% Health at the start , which would equal 20,000,000 HPs (full Health being 400,000,000)
So to take it to full health it would take 44 days just using 1 RM, 22 days with 2 RMs and 14.7 days with all 3 RMs.
For all 3 RMs to be constantly supplied to meet the exact times to completion you would need to supply:
Reinforced Alloy - 8,640 per day = a total of 127,008 (25.5 5ker loads)
Robotic Hardware - 8,640 per day = a total of 127,008 (25.5 5ker loads)
Hull Segments - 8,640 per day = a total of 127,008 (51 5ker loads, as HS take up 2 spaces)
This does not take in to account the Wear and Tear which would also require an extra 1440 RMs per day (which would equate to another 21,168 that is needed to be delivered).
'I would like to be half as clever as some people like to believe they are' Life is full of disappointments, it is how we handle them that helps to define us, as a person
