I am runnning Vista AVG (free version) and Freelancer just fine, but if it will make my connection faster I will get rid of it.

Looqas, are you using avast or AVG?

AVG is the one where people are having troubles with.

Avast. I just wanted to correct one person in the thread claiming that Avast will not work with Vista + FL.

Avast is fine IF you have the Network Shield module not installed. You can either do a complete un-install and install OR use the re-install feature and tick the Network Shield option off.
