Well, hopefully freelancer will stay alive till either Microsoft or a set of independent developers create Freelancer 2 (following the Discovery storyline of course)
INI parsing is far to be efficient in a game since you can have now much more DBMS systems (Oracle for exemple).
This game is also monothreaded. Okay it makes impossible to get deadlock problems but for some players like me who got more Cores than GigaHertzs for their processor, we can't have the maximum of this game.
All tools such as IONCROSS, FLHook and such could be integrated into the servers giving them more efficiency, less bugs ... also make them better.
I'm really a big fan of Disco I also managed to start to code the basis of this game.
FREELANCER JUST WIL' NEVAH DAI ! (cause he paid his 2M credits:D)
