Also, frankly - one part of me can't stop feeling sort of satisfied seeing you make a mess of things Reeves after you were the one who forced a rule change to stop people purposefully ruining large signup events in an orchestrated effort. (Not making this up - the biggest event hater/ruiner who called admins names for trying to stop him from ruining the fun of many people now makes events )
But really this is normal - events are hard, you will always have dissatisfied people, and it's a thankless job that creates a lot of activity and stress for little benefit to yourself. It's also normal to make mistakes and stuff not go according to plan - it rarely does, just roll with it and learn for next time. If nothing else at least we had a lot of RP around the area of space people forgot existed. The event has already been a big success even though it is likely to be extremely lopsided when it actually happens.
im personally just enjoying seeing how many metagamers and godmodders have just magically appeared out of the woodwork, particularly on the zoner side
its absolutely hilarious
one of my favorites is someone who left 5th months ago suddenly defecting with an entire fighter wing as if you can just snap your fingers and magically disappear with military tech

How amuzing and convenient for you to say that though right? The root of the very mistakes that people followed with came from your plant of a post that has meta signed on it, the best part of it being the staff blatantly ignoring the fact.
Sure i will go along with it, but i just wanted to say "that is a bitch move, chief."
There was one instance of accidental metagaming, which I removed. I was frustrated that it counted, but I'm here to cooperate. If there's anything else there that's metagaming, then feel free to point it out to me.
As far as the status quo goes, I'm happy as long as things are moving. The retcon was sad, but I'm not upset.

When there is zero consequences for your roleplay to your own character that you pull out once in a year, it's easy to be not upset.

I mean the consequence of getting potentionally outlawed everywhere in lawful space as well as possibly be hunted by intel groups or pirate groups for big money is a pretty drastic consequence, wouldn't you think?

This would only matter if we still had 225 people online who would be able and would bother to give this person the hardest time of thier life, as this "consequence" makes it sound to be. Nowadays? It's something to laugh at. Oh look at them, they outlawed me as if cared. Oh well.

THIS here sums it up perfectly fine. Why? If it was anyone else, say me for instance, pulling the metagame like that, no only i would've been banned without a warning, i would've been ridiculed all over Discord too, probably.
So the Consequences Snak3 is probably referring to, Nyx, are the ones that the staff should be looking into since rules were broken, but of course when the intentions are convenient for the side that holds the power, they'll let it slip, nothing new in this regard.

Outlawed, when half of factions to FR5 are non-existent, not counting factions that don't log or don't care? Hunted by one or two players once or twice a month? Please. All it takes is a rename to continue doing the same stuff.
We all know that RP consequences are not what it used to be a decade ago. And most if not all RP consequences are only scary to official factions that are not in power, or special roleplay characters that are active enough to be relevant.
