NCC Pontiff His Holiness Gregorius XCVII
Greetings, Field Maestre de Alba:
It's unfortunate to hear what you say, but we knew that this moment could come. I consider that the order to return our gunboats from Delta is correct, now we must focus on the defense of the settlement and supporting the forces of the Phoenix administration of Pygar.
I'll order preparations to begin to evacuate all non-essential non-combatant personnel from Faith Haven, if necessary. I'm also going to talk to Monsignor Patel so that he can contact Livadia Shipyard, to see how the rehabilitation of our colony ship is going. It's a priority to know if we will be able to evacuate our people there, or we'll have to request the help of the Theia, as it was offered to us.
Maestre, it's time to raise our prayers to Deux Machina, and to maintain strength of mind in the face of the adversities that lie ahead. We mustn't forget that Deux helps those who help themselves, so commit your soul to Deux, and do your duty knowing that we're doing the right thing.

*The man on screen has a tense and worried, yet firm expression.*
Greetings to all:
Brothers in Faith, the moment we feared has arrived. It seems that confrontation with the Corsair is inevitable, and there will soon be open hostilities on Omicron Theta. I don't know to what extent this will affect Planet Pygar, but immediate measures must be taken to protect the civilian population of Faith Haven.
I hereby decree the evacuation of all civilian settlers who are not strictly essential personnel to maintain the most basic functioning of the settlement. This includes the personnel of the Ministries and Secretariats and the members of the Government, except for those whose presence is essential on the planet, or those who have decided of their own free will to join the defense forces. 30 members of the Pontifical Guard will accompany the evacuees in order to maintain order among the people, but the rest of the Guard personnel, and the whole of the 1st of Rangers militia, will take the agreed defensive positions pending the development of events.
The evacuation will be carried out on the surface shuttles, and they will take the evacuees to the Phoenix colony ship Theia, which is currently in Pygar orbit awaiting our people as well as more civilians from other settlements on the planet. The Guard will be in charge of organizing the evacuees in their travel shifts on the shuttles, and maintaining order throughout the process.
Ladies and gentlemen, you already know what you have to do. Get to work to organize this in the most efficient way possible and don't forget that Deux is on our side. May He grant us the strength we need to save the lives of our brothers and defend ourselves against the powers that threaten the freedom and unity of human beings.
NCC Gunship Custodian Commander Lieutenant Alfred Nolan
Good morning Field Maestre:
I come to present the report of the joint military actions that the NCC Custodian and the NCC Militant Lance have carried out with the Outcast and Phoenix forces.
The first thing, sir, is to indicate that the joint forces have been victorious this time. It has been three days of hard and constant battles against the Corsair forces, who have defended themselves desperately and fiercely, ending with the total destruction of three cruisers and a battlecruiser of the enemy, and the withdrawal of their battered fleet from the system. Freeport 9 is currently being assaulted, inside which hostile forces still resist, but being completely isolated there is no doubt that they will end up succumbing.
However, sir, something tells me that this is not over yet. At the moment there are still skirmishes throughout Theta with Corsair forces, and it is very likely that they will only withdraw momentarily to rebuild their forces and return to carry out a counterattack. They have been badly damaged and have suffered heavy losses, which will undoubtedly mean that they will have to weaken one of the many other combat fronts they have open throughout Sirius to reinforce their decimated forces in the Omicrons. Neverthless, I think they will be willing to do it in order to try to regain control over Freeport 9, because the Corsairs seem to display an irrational perseverance in their ideas which prevents them from learning from their own mistakes and explore other paths. Although I consider that is their main weakness, it's also one of the things that makes them extremely dangerous, along with their number. My recommendation, Field Maestre, is that we do not relax on this, and that we maintain military alert.
Regarding the purely operational aspect of the combat actions carried out, simply indicate that our ships have focused mainly on supporting the Phoenix fleet, as expressed in the orders received.
On the first day of fighting, the Custodian and the Militant Lance fought during the early stages of the battle until they were severely damaged and unable to continue. Both ships were towed to the Corfu Base drydock, where emergency repairs could be made. However, the Custodian's engine was so damaged that it could not be repaired in time for the second day of fighting, and the Militant Lance had to go out alone. Later the Lance received damage again and had to return to the Corfu drydock, from where it left for the last combat accompanied, now yes, by the Custodian.
Currently, both ships are undergoing repairs again, because the last assault on the enemy forces stationed around the Freeport was very tough. While the Custodian came out relatively safely and was able to return home after the battle under its own power, the Militant Lance had to be towed to Corfu, barely preserving its structural integrity with duct tape and prayers, if you'll pardon the expression. Both gunships are currently undergoing repairs again, and although we believe the Custodian will soon be operational again, the Lance is going to need a long season of fixes.
Despite the violence of the fighting, we only have to regret the loss of two crew members: Pikeman Alfonso Dominguez, gunner of the Custodian, and Pikeman Dylan Larson, scanner operator of the Militant Lance. Both brave men died in the line of duty, fighting for the freedom and unity of Mankind, and seeking the fulfillment of the Sacred Mandate of Deux Our Lord. May He allow them to merge in His Greatness.
The mortal remains of both crew members have already been sent to Faith Haven on the shuttles, so that they can be mourned by their loved ones and honored in the Temple as they deserve.
I inform you that the Pontiff has been updated on the situation and has accepted my recommendation that the civilians and other evacuated personnel return to Faith Haven.
I am sorry to hear of the loss of the two members of your crews, the funeral will take place with the highest honors in the great basilica, where your presence is expected. And I inform you that the Pontiff himself will officiate the funeral.
Speaking of presence, both you and Kerensky and your crews will enjoy a week's leave ashore, visit family, rest... but don't get too comfortable because I have received the order from Pontiff in person to reinforce with two new destroyers our aerospace force, its names will be The Spear of Deux and the Shield of Faith.
In two weeks the new ships will arrive from O-48 and both you and Kerensky will have the assignment of captaining them, so you will have to study and familiarize yourself with the ship while the calm lasts.
Hopefully the Corsairs decide to negotiate, the loss of two biodomes and the possibility of the other two suggests a famine whose consequences we cannot foresee.
We have to prepare for the worst and hope for the best under the gaze of Deux.
Sir, I simply want to inform you of my assumption of command of gunship Custodian, according to orders received, as well as the first patrol carried out by Omicron Theta.
It has been a simple walk, we've only circled the white dwarf and approached Freeport 9 to see how things are going there. The station still has obvious damage to two of its biodomes, where you can clearly see how oxygen escapes through the holes. Following the withdrawal of the Outcast forces from around the Freeport, it seems that the Corsairs have made a move, and have stationed a new capital ship next to it. The identification obtained through the scanner seems to be that of the battlecruiser Vis, so I think that it has been brought from Sigma 17 to reinforce their positions.
Despite this, it doesn't seem that the Corsairs have managed to regain full control of the interior of the base yet, and I must imagine that fighting continues inside, although we haven't gotten close enough to be able to verify it, in compliance with current orders to maintain distance from the Corsair forces.

NCC Minister of Industry and Development Monsignor William Patel
Good evening to all:
I'm happy to adress to you to report that the new Nephilim-class vessel we ordered from Livadia is finally available for us to take possession of. We've decided to call it Resurgence, in honor of this new advent of our Faith that we've achieved in recent years, with Deux's help.
Tomorrow I'll depart on the NCC Horizon along with the crew to Omicron Kappa, to sign the acquisition papers in Livadia and place the payment transfer order. We may spend a few days in Kappa, near the shipyard, doing some test drives, checking that everything is in order, and then we'll return to Theta.
While I'm off the planet I've left Churchman Wong with the order to remain in charge of my Ministry, for the most daily tasks. If something important comes up I'll be able to contact you from Horizon, and if everything goes well I'll also be able to do so from Resurgence. However, if something were to happen to me, I fully trust in the capabilities of the Churchman Wong, and I ask you to do the same.

NCC Minister of Industry and Development Monsignor William Patel
Good morning:
I'm pleased to inform you that the acquisition of the Resurgence has been a success. It's currently stationed in Pygar's orbit, as you can see in the image attached to this transmission, which was taken just a few minutes ago from the shuttle that is taking me to Faith Haven right now.
The reconditioning work carried out by Livadia has been excellent, and the crew has been able to verify that the ship, although old, is in perfect condition to fulfill its function. I've personally supervised the two days of testing that we've carried out at Kappa, and I've to say that I'm deeply satisfied with the results.
I can affirm that we now have a ship capable of transporting the entire population of Faith Haven, evacuating them, resettling them, and doing whatever is necessary to guarantee the survival of our fellow believers. It's a great step forward for this Holy Church to once again have a ship of these characteristics, and I sincerely believe that we should congratulate ourselves on this success, which is the result of the hard work we have been doing since our arrival in Pygar, and thank Deux Our Lord for giving us the means and strength to achieve it.
I'll make a full report upon my arrival at the Pontifical Palace, and will personally answer all questions from the Concilium.
After the battle of FP9, the waters seem calm in Theta for the moment.
Therefore, after an increase in sightings of the Great Enemy in Delta and with the approval of his Holiness and the Council, all heavy forces of the Pontifical Guard are ordered to relocate to Delta and use FP11 as a base for offensive operations.
Ladies and gentlemen, prepare your souls and say your prayers to Deux, because the hunt has begun.
Good morning your honors, I come in person from FP11 to bring worrying news.
Being on guard as we were ordered, I managed to capture the communications that were taking place between two ships.
I don't really understand what we heard but I decided to do a little digging.
Apparently John Silverstone, Captain of the Rusty old Screw, is infected with an artificial pathogen of unknown origin that wishes to assimilate all life... or so I understood from a private conversation with a member of the Auxos.
Ladies and gentlemen, forgive my rudeness, but I didn't understand a damn thing, this is far beyond my knowledge and training.
I left a copy of the transcript of events in the attached file.
On the other hand, I made contact with an artificial entity called Singularis, from the Omnisciens ship, who spoke about a great temple in GC and religious topics for which, once again, I am not prepared, I recommend sending an experienced clergyman to be the one who decide what to do, if there is really anything to do.
Log about Jhon:
-Intercepted Comms-
Rusty.Old.Screw: We mean, that's me who is driving now.
A/)-Lazurith: [The pilot audibly whistled in surprise.]
Rusty.Old.Screw: Since the Virulean Enclave unit was nearby.
A/)-Lazurith: Did you see that name just now?
A/)-Lazurith: The callsign on that Zoner ship.
Rusty.Old.Screw: So I sort of took over.
A/)-Lazurith: So gaudy.
Rusty.Old.Screw: Yes, yes.
Rusty.Old.Screw: *Shrugs audibly and yanws* So you can say that Johnny is on remote for now.
A/)-Lazurith: Doesn't matter - you're still Johnny to me. You are honestly a little too difficult to comprehend for my goopy brain.
A/)-Lazurith: I've lost you at the "reincarnated AI" part.
A/)-Lazurith: Oh, I dunno.
A/)-Lazurith: Every bit of it?
A/)-Lazurith: You worked with the Order.
A/)-Lazurith: As a machine, in an Osiris.
A/)-Lazurith: Then, somehow you were reincarnated into a... person or something?
...
...
A/)-Lazurith: Wasted enough time here getting played by Nomads.
-The intercepted comns ends here-
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: K: Captain of the Rusty, can you explain me something? i cach a comm of a something called "Reincarnated AI"
Rusty.Old.Screw: There is no such thing as reincarnation, dear.
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: K: What is he meaning then?
Rusty.Old.Screw: I suggest it is better to ask him to find out?
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: K: Ok, if i find him i will ask... what is your name by the way?
Rusty.Old.Screw: John. John Silverstone.
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: K: Victor Kerensky *tips hat*
Rusty.Old.Screw: Happy to know you, i suppose.
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: K: And... are you allright? i hear something about "johnny is on remote for now"
Rusty.Old.Screw: More or less fine, other than seeing too many space squids a day.
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: K: Thats is for we are here, to reinforce the FP11 agains the Nomads menance
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: K: I leave you with your busnisess, if you are to stay in this area, we will meet again
Rusty.Old.Screw: Stay safe.
-Comms open with the Auxo member-
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: you have a private comms request A/D?
A/)-Revenant: Uh, accepting call. Who's this?
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: K: This is Victor Kerensy of the Spear of Deux
A/)-Revenant: Salutations, Kerensy. Is there something you need?
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: K: Can i make you a simple question about Jhon, captain of the Rusty Of Screw?
A/)-Revenant: Which would be?
A/)-Revenant: John Silverstone, a known clone, assimilated to a hostile and infectious AI system of unknown origin.
A/)-Revenant: Also has tendencies to float around women.
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: K: Right, you got my point, is He dangerous for the FP or Humanity in general?
A/)-Revenant: For the Freeport... [sigh] Don't know.
A/)-Revenant: I don't know what his short term plan is, I only know of their long term plan to assimilate everyone.
A/)-Revenant: Most of the time he is a bumbling fool.
A/)-Revenant: Forbid him from inviting people to his room.
A/)-Revenant: That would be my recommendation.
A/)-Revenant: Obviously from, scanning him, so forth.
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: K: Thank for the advice, The Church dont know much about this type of menance, i will contact with my superiors
A/)-Revenant: Very well. Just keep an eye on him.
A/)-Revenant: And... make sure women are safe.
A/)-Revenant: He is a bit of a creep.
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: K: This is abouve me by far, if my leadership take some kind of decision, can i tell him to contact your kind?
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: K: you seems to know much more than we
A/)-Revenant: I've had the misfortune of personal experience.
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: K: Experience is what we lack
[NCC/PG]-Spear.of.Deux: K: Can i told my superiors that they can contact you for this matter and some relacionated?
A/)-Revenant: I don't see why not.

NCC Pontiff His Holiness Gregorius XCVII
Good morning, Lieutenant.
I greatly appreciate the report, good work. After examining the information you have attached to us, I must say that this is something we should investigate. I don't know what's going on at Omicron Delta, but the activity taking place there lately is concerning.
Nomad aberrations that attack our freighters, worshipers of the Nomads and Aberratio Incubi roaming freely, now autonomous AIs with religious thoughts, artificial viruses that wish to assimilate all existing life, members of the Auxo Technocracy... It's frankly disturbing, and everything indicates that something sinister is swirling around Freeport 11, and throughout the entire system.
You say that we would do well to send a cleric to Freeport 11, to examine and assess if there is any kind of danger lurking there. Well, I'll take your recommendation very seriously, and we are going to place someone there permanently.
Regarding the subject infected with the virus... the cleric will try to observe the existing situation and, if possible, will establish contact with him to assess the threat he may pose to Humanity, and will inform us regularly. Likewise, he will try to keep a close eye on that AI. As you well know, Lieutenant, if you remember your teachings in the Holy Codex, autonomous mechanical entities are... something that borders on heresy. Deux gave us the Gift of the Machine to help Mankind survive, therefore machines must be an instrument in the hands of humans. When instruments become self-aware and make decisions on their own... well, it could be considered a perversion of the Sacred Gift.
However, keep in mind that our main duty at a time as critical as the present must be primarily the defense of the interests of Mankind, not proselytizing our Faith. Our path of action right now must be focused on identifying and combating the possible threats to the Sacred Mandate, whether they come from the Great Enemy, or from any other external entity. Humanity must prevail.
As for the Auxo Technocracy, I've my reservations about them, and I ask you to be careful too. I don't have much information about them, although from the little I know, they seek the use of technology to achieve the ascension of the human species, which I consider to be quite heretical as well. Deux gave us His Sacred Gift so that the human race can endure, and using it to turn Mankind into something different, dehumanized, I also consider this to be an aberrant use of the Gift. And that's not to mention the interest they show in Nomad remains and relics, and the risk that this implies for all of us.
However, again, I insist that we must focus on what is important, and if Auxo has any information or knowledge about the threats that imminently affect the human way of life, we must be practical and take advantage of all sources of information at our disposal, as long as this doesn't lead us to lose our soul.
In any case, Lieutenant, I will meet as soon as possible with the Concilium to discuss this matter immediately. For your part, make the repairs and supplies for your destroyer that you must do in Corfu, and immediately leave again for Delta. Under the circumstances, we cannot afford to keep our forces away for too long.
