Well, I'm mighty glad for your sake that you were able to secure a used liner. And in fact, I have additional good news for you. You see, we're currently in the process of refitting a police liner for some folks in Bretonia, and that's really given us a good understanding of the challenges involved. Now your refit is much more extensive that they're requirin', but it will not cost as much as we originally quoted. How about that for a surprise, eh?
Accordin' to the boss, the improvement of our internal refit pipeline can save you upwards of 20% off the original 2.5 million price. With this in mind, your new contracted total will be 2 million credits. However, with the volume of requests we are already fieldin', only overtime salaries can get your liner out the door within a reasonable timeframe. If I were you, I'd consider investin' your new savings on the contract into speeding up our delivery schedule. Currently, we are lookin' at around 1 month without significant overtime, and around 2 weeks at the original contract price (2.5 million). I hope you understand that these numbers are the best that we can offer with the dry-dock only in the early stages of capacity.
One last thing. The boss offered this to the Bretonians, and I figure I will do the same. If you wanna cut your timeframe by about a week, we can send our people over on your liner as it performs its first voyage under the new specs. This team will perform all the required testing and final modifications of any in-ship components. We will pay their fare, but you will be required to pay their salary for the duration of the trip, totaling $200,000 credits. Naturally, we will need to know the flight plan and destination of your vessel, and we reserve the right to pull our people out if you attempt to change course without prior communication.
Dependin' on your timeframe, the total amount due for the work will be between $2,000,000 to $2,700,000 credits. Once the vessel is moored at Susquehanna Station and your chosen amount is transferred to our account, the build can begin. You will be given accomodations on the station while you wait for it to be completed. Alternatively, you may choose to take rooms on one of the resorts on Curacao - I hear they're just the thing to take the worry off!
Please get back to me as soon as you can with your decision, and I hope you'll get everythin' you wanted ouf of the refit!
