What I think it is with the crinkled or rumpled layers and 'tentacles' is that it's still forming into a full battleship, so those appendages have yet taken their full shape, and are still in the process of forming. Keep it all wrinkly imo.

its a pregnant nomad battleship with spikes popping out of it in a jerky fashion instead of the usual "smooth" way. nomad ships are more tubey and long-ish.

Made the front spikes a bit smoother, trying to keep their shape, though.
Lowered the top-rear spike.
And shrunk some of the wide curves on the middle-rear

A quick side-note. 6 Spikes should in no way be too many. Otherwise the Sascya Assassin would have to be remodeled too.

hm, the two tubes or torpedo slots or what is it, i dont like them on that model.

when it is supposed to be a nomad bc, in other words not enough old battleship, little one, what about making it with the same design as nomad bs is, but lot smaller and with unfinished spikes?

global, those "torp tubes" are on the BS as well.
the BC does have "unfinished spikes", and is smaller than the nomad BS (however, being a BC it must be larger than the Cruiser)

Suggestion ; try removing those weird curly spikes and the Spikes-to-be (the stomps). See what that does.

I like it a lot to be honest.
The model design is very well done and does look like a Nomad ship all in all.
It shouldn't be the same as the other ships though, simply to give some variance to a shipline that could benefit from some. (The Fighter additions like the Assassin etc are good examples of this)

Exactly what I was thinking.

The concept is indeed interesting, and really looks good.

However, it just doesn't strike me as completely Nomadic, because of some of the somewhat non-fluidic parts of it.

Keep working on it. If it ever gets in, I'm sure I'm going to get one.
