Actually the AFA asked privately if the deal was still on, we didn't huint you in pairs. I found you first and told the farmer where we were at, with the caveat that it would be him after if he didn't immediately turen his cruise engines on.

I'm also not mentioning names here. The second encounter though was not chance--they were paired and came hunting. That;s the one I am most raising an eyebrow at.
Poor form at the best. Kusari are xenophobic as much as the Xenos are. Kishiro and Samura ships get banged by Xenos and Rogues in Shikoku and Kepler routinely--though a farmer might not mind terribly much. But the Liberty side of Ames is a bit off the beaten path for a Farmer and to go there to fly with a Xeno is really pushing it--imo.
You are a big Junker target, high profile, and at the top of the hit list of both the AFA and the XA. You should expect this kind of attention when you take that ship out.
I came on the scene of that fight after the Junker barge went up, and spent some time getting shot at by both the Xeno and the Farmer. After I got popped, though, that was the end of any warm feelings between the two.
Honestly, I didn't see anything wrong the situation.
Honestly the deal is no more than killing Junkers. If we catch the AFA anywhere in our space (that includes Southern Shikoku:P) Then said AFA is going to get shot.
Oh and Gkenn, can you add me back into the Xeno chat.

Haha--well its going to get "odder" there. That's going to be a thorn in your side soon. :)
Junker "policy" in Kusari is failed. Its gone from, "We don't like you here" to routine collaborations between navy police and Kusari criminal groups and kos actions by Hogosha and farmers. Add to that the hardened stance by the governement not even letting Junkers land staion or planet side there and its time for Junkers to try alternative means.
Look at the situation:
Enter Kusari space and the authorities will escort you out and refuse to let you land or trade.
Authorities will allow and even join criminals in engaging you.
There is a worsened stance in government attitudes there and an increased boldness and hostility by criminal groups. The JSF is designed to be "stick" diplomacy for Junkers when all else fails. Good test of our usefulness. Other Junkers can sit back while we do the dirty work.
Having a barge "run silent, run deep" in Kusari space as a covert mobile depot for "found goods" will be fun. We can monitor criminal movements from it and co-ordinate anti-criminal activities by others there. At the same time we can begin helping new groups to see if we might become friends--such as Chrysanthemums and Dragons perhaps.

I don't mind--I do expect it. Just keep it in-character and plausible as much as possible.

The engagement was in Southern Shikoku--closer to the Colorado gate then Ames.--the Xeno-Farmer team came from the North side--together.
' Wrote:Wow, You have a barge? how much special RP did you have to type for that?
Oh thats right...According to the Special RP Requests You didnt.
Nice...Way to Exploit the said RP & Rules System.
I think it was the non-stop pre-beta and beta testing "please please please please put my barge in" over and over that helped. I lobbied Seth and Jinx and a few mods till they threw one at me to shut me up I think;)
Oh--I missed the sarcasm there and gave you a sincere response. Let me rephrase:I didn't exploit anything. The barge concept was initiated by me, lobbied for by me, discussed in the beta by me and a few others wanted to try it too. My being allowed one is to see how it gets used and to evaluate it--its still a beta right? But hey, "Nice meeting you too and look forward to seeing you in game." Thanks for the constructive comments and ideas--its helped us all.
Er Tink asked very nicely for the barge and was greeted with 100% approval from the Admin team, he explained it's purpose and made damn sure he jumped through all the necessary hoops and paid the 500 million to get it.
