"Miss Wolfe, I would like to remind you the man you are pissing off has a Liberty Dreadnought under his command, along with 2 Cruisers, 4 gunboats, a wing of bombers and 3 wings of Guardian fighters. Also, we are not officially on business here, and I strongly suggest you hand me a copy of those pictures."
He paused.
"Now."
He stood and towered over her, easily a head taller, and invaded her personal space. He held out a hand.
Andrew did not seem to be intimidated at the least at Seth's breakout, he utterly ignored it as well, he noded to Julie and shruged.
"Do as you wish with those, I am sure they are not the last I get. As for the trust, mr Karlo, all i wish is to point out, that while on normal terms we should be shooting eachother, dealing at the problem at hand is a wiser thing to do"
The young man then looked around and narrowed his eyes "I think we have used the hospitability of this freeport enough...I will be sure we can find a more suited place next time"
Mort then shruged silently "I think, if we can agree of your forces not shoot mine and vise versa, I can arrange that the rheinland warships shall be full of holes, till they get to Liberty borders, not to mention a few more pairs of eyes and ears would benefit you, aye?"
Julia laughed once again as her friend walked over to the trio....
"Your toys are worthless here Captain and your threats are empty, now if you turn around you shall see my friend here." Julia smiled
Her friend was very tall and intimidating, he had his blaster drawn and ready....
"As I already said, you shall have a copy AFTER I am finished with it. Now be a good boy and sit back down, we don't want this to get messy do we."
She drew her gun out and pulled back the hammer in anticipation of the Navy man's next move....
Seths eyes narrowed. The man behind him pressed a gun barrel to his back, and Seth cursed at the LSF with a passion.
"You traitor" he growled, and in the blink of an eye span, elbowing the mans blaster to the side, knocking it out of his path, his right fist connected with the mans stomach, causing him to double over. Seths left hand rammed into the back of his neck, and the man fell forwards.
Before she could move a step, Seth had his gun placed right in between Julia's eyes, and she had hers pointing at his gut a second later.
"You are supposed to be working with me" he spat, glaring at her. The man on the floor groaned slightly.
"Did you really think that I would get promotion to Captain without advanced hand-to-hand training? You LSF are getting worse and worse. You disgust me. Mort, the LSF are useless. They haven't the resources you need to get the job done. You want action, I want another meeting, without this cow in the way."
Having said his piece, he lowered his gun, and strode out of the bar.
Julia wiped the sweat from her head and put her gun away. She kicked her friend while he was on the floor.
"Pathetic fool, where did you learn to fight boy?"
The bar was quiet for a moment, she looked around and found nothing.
"That bloody coward, the LSF has more resources than the Navy will ever know about. He is just angry because he couldn't scare me into giving him the pad. I will be at the next meeting, they can count on it." Julia said to herself.
She kicked her friend again before walking to the hanger bay......
But Mort had already left. As soon as he smelled the hint of danger, he had sliped away like the thousands of times he had done so before. In or out of his ship, Andrew Mort was a slippery man indeed.
Nothing was left on the station to remind of his visit, the young bartender girl was found murdered with a clean cut to her throat and torso, laying in a puddle of her own blood in the back of the bar.
Mort had left the station in mere moments, the light civilian craft had undocked and flown off towards an unknown route, with or without the pilot, it did not matter. Both Julia and Seth would be contacted again soon once more.
Sylpheed smiled to himself. Now would be a good time to make himself scarce, but infighting bewteen two known members of the Liberty forces was good fun to watch.
He pushed his seat back and left via one of the routes that didn'tbring attention to himself and his size. He left a credit chit and a little something else on the table.

Mort chuckled to himself as he landed the escape pod on San Quentin. The day was full of ruprises indeed. Two potential aliances, even if secret, were very helpful indeed. He couldnt wait to tell Sylpheed what he had done, if he could finally find the man.
He hrmmed to himself again, noting mentaly that the next meeting would be with one at a time, he couldn't risk allowing them to kill eachother now could he. He stoped for a moment and blinked. It sounded too strange to be true, but the opportunity was promicing. His boys would be safe and soon he could have a few tons of goods from rheinland warships for him to take apart.
Who could have known these deals were so profitable...for both sides.
Julia got back to where her Avenger fighter was stationed and suited up read to return home.
"Computer, fire up the engines and run a pre-flight check"
She was seething with anger at having a gun pointed at her, from a supposed ally at that. Julia sat in the cockpit and analysed the data Mort had given her.
All this over a datapad, the Navy should know better than to point a gun at an agent... I should have his family taken from him but, I can't risk something like that... She thought.
After a long flight she finally arrived at Alert Station where she had a small office. Julia uploaded the datapad and sent a copy to the intelligence branch for analyse....
A few days later, the data came back with Nomad engine signatures and laser residue on one of the ships hulls....
Interesting indeed, seems this Mort was right, I can't allow this to fall into the wrong hands...But I shall forward a copy to Seth as I had promised... It may convince him we are on the same side afterall.
As the barmaid bent down to pick up the credit chit she noticed the other thing Sylpheed had left, it was a small object that fitted inside the palm of her hand with a small flashing light on it's front facing, she looked at it, and it would be the last thing she ever did look at. the resulting explosion, due to temperature change in the device was only small. But it did enough damage to wreck a good portion of the bar and claim three lives.
