You get good and bad everywhere... Sometimes you get very bad from very surprising sources, and very good from equally surprising stories. However, the "ENGAGUBG RED SCUM!" brigade is strong in both alpha and gamma, and frankly, it drives me to distraction.
I was there the first time you came to gamma, which, before you had to go, and after the lolwutter was told to shut up, was some excellent RP. I think that the whole thing you got going is great, and even though you will encounter lolwutters on all sides, if you persist you will meet more and more people who do not just want to obliterate/PvPwhore you.
'Twas great fun, and i really enjoyed explaining what nomads were, and why we hate the outcasts, hope you are not put off by this.

Sadly I have a bad habit of not always taking screens, even though with this kind of RP, I should. It seems idiotic now that I bring this up with few to no screens. I'll have to remind myself more.

Ah you were there Monty? I think it was Strail who attempted to kill me, before you reigned him in. Which I am thankful for, and sorry I had to go for food too, I wish I didn't have food at that time, I was enjoying myself too.
Sad to say that afterwards, I think I was killed by a pair of lol'wutters about two hours later with little explanation except along the generic lines "We hate freelancers". I attempted to explain, but they ripped me up. For that I do have two shots.
I go to Gamma to make a nuisance of myself on occasion, but RP wise it's been mostly pretty good. I mean sure if you take 5 fighters you'll meet 5 caps, but we're going to Gamma so it's not like you can complain about that.

Yes, i was on HAF-C-Xochipilli, and it seems we have had an influx of new indy corsairs, not all of whom can RP that well (i have had to tell people not ot use smileys or 'lol' in system chat a LOT recently). the problem is that, unless they have faction superiors telling them what to do, most just think that they can do what they like.
Ah, well, i hope that your opinion of the corsairs as a whole was not spoiled by a few new lolwutters.

I know with both Outcasts and Corsairs there are a lot of lol'wutters, its just so darn irritating that I can't continue to RP for four hours.:(
In my opinion the problem stems from the fact it is too easy to start a character fly down to Gamma and start challenging anybody who enters the system with limited or no RP because the ID says Corsairs can shoot on site any non-allied factions(or something like that)
It frustrates the hell out of me that Gamma is so accessible and little or no effort is needed to gain the Corsair rep and set your self up in Gamma to shoot anyone you feel like.
I digres slightly but only today I was patrolling near the O41 Jh today when low and behold in flys a Rhino, great I thought a chance for some interaction! Sadly all I get is 'I am off to join the corsairs' and off he flys to Gamma.
What continues is a system wide chat about how do I get my rep up etc etc. Which was follwoed by an offer of 'Ill fly missions for you' Now dont get me wrong I appreciate people want to set up characters but why cant people keep it in private chat. When I set up my Corsair character I did it in Omega 5 and 41 and didnt even consider entering Gamma until I was Green with Corsairs and flying a Corsair ship.
Why cant new characters be hostile to Corsairs, and Outcasts for that matter? This will make it more challenging to Gain acces to gamma as you will have to work at it and hopefully limit the number of players looking for a system and id which allows them to attack with little RP.
