@ Whomever said something about the Quad Turrets - Single Fire, well, perhaps its like the Deathstar, they all focus together and pew pew!

try making a single barreled gun that does not look huge.

On a related note....

What would really be nifty is actually giving BH cap turrets a different projectile. The current Liberty turret projectile (the one BH turrets use) is rather boring.

Now, back on topic - interesting drafts, Tic. Keep up the brainstorming.

The designs themselves aren't bad Tic, but your UVW mapping is awful. You have mis-aligned seams and overly tiled components. Its honestly very poor and I would suggest fixing that before anymore work is done.

I don't really get what you're trying to say here...

The texture mapping on the turrets needs to be improved to meet the standards set by the other models present.

If you look at the yellow/black "caution" textures around the base of your turret, you can see at the corners your textures are misaligned. That is what Turkish is talking about. If you used Milkshape to texture it's relatively simple to fix.

You can see here your edges don't line up at all. It gives the textures a rather poor quality feel.

Big turret looks nice.

Big turret is easier to shoot off.

Anything I say is not intended as offensive, and to try and deliberately misinterpret it as such would be an attempt at trolling via misrepresentation.

a little hint - keep it simple; very simple.

turrets are usually seen from quite far away - they should easily be recognized.

think of characteristics for BHG ships. - like heavy, light, agile. - visible armour plates, visible internal mechanics etc.

for me - for example - BHG turrets should be heavy and rather plated with armour plates - compact - turrets that don t offer vulnerable spots - like an axis or a joint.

thats just a quick concept of - well, something ... prolly no primary turret - but i think you should keep it as simple as possible. - even without a texture - this turret would probably fit onto the ships hardpoints.
