It can still be very risky. There have been times when I've tried that, but I end up not being able to find my money. I did that twice, and decided that it is safer to talk to someone that you trust.

hmm, th ecredit card always works for me.

only time i failed was when i first tested it on a 10k credit card. that was cause i f1'd out straight away lol.

now i leave it for 3 secs after the sheild comes up or the loot stops moving and the i swich in space. i do it all the time, though i must admit, i am uncomfortable about it;).

The safest way is to have "loot" selected in your HUD, and make sure everything you dumped appears in the list. Further, for some ships, you need to be moving forward for the loot to get free of your hold (just tap the afterburners I find).
