I don't like it. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of order agents (wtf is with word spies, its not like they wouldn't act as the faction they belong to) but no ID.

Mostly because you can't really enforce your faction's law without their ID.
So ha!
but seriously, why openly show it and allow people to metagame.

I support this idea. To the people who would say that the ID says "Here I am, I'm the spy you're looking for", it'd be nice if people meta-gamed a little less and actually roleplayed some ignorance once in a while.

Alternately, an Order Espionage ID with a part at the top which reads, "The character holding this ID is incognito and cannot be identified without roleplay the agent has agreed to, please look to the IFF for the undercover operative's affiliation."

I like this idea but I think Order Agents should not carry their own ID. Instead use the faction you are spying on ID and make reports under a classified name to maintain your cover. I think it's a bad idea to broadcast you are a spy as some players will no doubt purely go on your ID, it would be nice if this did'nt happen but it will. Not to mention the daily "Order pilot in a Wraith!" conversation.
