Clarification is needed here...
This should apply to the NPC faction. Not all people who create new characters want to join a player faction.
Some player factions are meant to remain small... others require large numbers. It's tough to say which player factions need more membership in reference to other player factions.
Edit: This definitely applies to the NPC faction, just read the post again.
I believe he's referring to the NPC factions rather than just player factions. There are lots of indie rogues about, for example. I see a lot of =LSF= tagged folks, so I doubt that the NPC faction needs more players, never mind the player faction.
Interesting list, though. Think I'll have a go at a Kusari character. Not sure what...

There might be a lot of indies in one NPC Faction, but not many in the Player Faction or vise versa... the Lbierty Rogues for example, we have 22~ members, of which only 5-6 are active.

No, I believe if he was refering to NPC Factions he wouldn't have used all the Player Faction tags...

We have closed recruitment, I think. (With constant re-opening and closing, we should be alright on numbers.)
Guys just to clarify this is a simple observation. It does Not apply solely to the player factions. But to player factions and independent players alike. For example, there are only a handful of Bowex officials, yet they have plenty due to the independant players that go trapsing around in shires.

I'm confused as to the point of this thread, then. You say that some factions need don't need new players, like the Liberty Rogues, and then some people will assume we are a large and thriving faction. Which we are not. We do have many independants, but they have different... ideals to us. Though, there seem to be more Outcast indies in Liberty than Rogues these days.
This thread is simply a filter to direct people in the oppertune direction for a new character. In which they may launch or populate a relativley inactive faction such as planetform. It's for people who want to help spread the butter evenly on the toast.
