Seriously, welcome to discovery. Feel free to ask any relevant questions to get connected to a real roleplay environment. check the recruitment page http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showforum=66 and see whats open.
if you have any questions, search the forums. someone has prolly asked the same question... several times over usually.
remember, don't forget to transfer your ship id back (you have to have the right screen open - if it doesn't move over, its not transfered)
dont' re-engage. if you fought with all your might, then its ok. not trying to win is like trying to lose.
don't buy a cap. srsly. they're big, slow, get stuck in trade lanes, jump gates, docking sequences, etc etc, and are easy to hit (side of barn for a snac)
the angels thread has some good ideas for trade runs, but the best one is one that you find yourself.
Well, since it has been a few Days on Disco now, I gotta say: It still rocks.
My old Server (Hamburg City, HHC) is left in anarchy and Cheating, so Discovery is a dam Paradise to me.I already own a Rheinland Train, Kusari Train, Bottlenose Gunboat and a Rheinland Kreuzer (RNC-Nagold).
I even joined a player Faction, [ALG].
But I still have a few Questions:
Are there any engagement rules, according War-Zones (Rheinland / Liberty)?
May I join multiple Player-Factions?
Is there any need for Registration of Rheinland-Capitals?
Well.thats it, with the Questions.
One last thing: I guess I wont join the [RM] Player Faction (well, not in the next few Days...), `cause I`m not that good in RP.

Connecticut is a pvp zone, no engagement notices necessary, but its pretty chilled.
everywhere else you must give the other fella time to respond. if your pirating, then give him a chance to make a counter offer. If your policing, give him time to give himself up.
if you kill him, he has to quit system. if you get killed, a simple '//gf' in private chat is acceptable, then you've got 600 seconds to hit the road. After that, none of your chars can enter that system for two hours.
joining multiple factions - very much encouraged. you can then jump onto another character to balance out a furball if things look one-sided. Not sure if the rule about owning caps is still in effect, but basically, how many capships do you really want to have?
registration of rhein caps? dunno, just as a matter of courtesy it wouldn't hurt. let them get to know you, and they'll invite you to join their groups.
