Why do the Lane Hackers, or Liberty Rogues, or IMG, or LPI, need gunships? Tell me when was the last time you saw the police running around in a gunship.
Because it's a game, because there are freelancers who want to fly gunships. There are so many reason why there should be a line of Civilian gunships.
I mean, come on. Why does everyone keep asking that question. You know, you can buy anything with the right amount of money. I could go out right now and order a Russian Hind Gunship for less than 1 million dollars. They sell them, their legal to own in my state. They guy who runs the county airport has one.
with a little buff to the center-region, you are more likely to pass it off as a personnel transport for another house/faction (probably rheinland, since they have a blocky ship design). you should make a better quality/resolution render so we can see the details a bit better before passing judgement etc.
You can have a hind in the country you live in? Because I would like to own a Apache xD
And the model its very good but it doesn't fit the cvilian line. It looks more like a coalition model. And yes, mercenary gunship should be the answer to "civilians dont need gunships". PERIOD.

I kinda have to agree with that. If anyone needs one, a corp could just field a mercenary division, or Anyone could go grab one.
go with 6 guns though, Genericness is no excuse for suxxage
it dosent need to be better than everything else, but it needs to be on Par. I would -hate- for this to become another useless bit of code Because of an Overzealos Balance team
Give it slightly more Rheinland features, slap on a green engine effect and do this:
--
As the Rheinland government realized they were on the losing end of a war of attrition, it began searching for ways to turn the tide. In a decision of desperation, the government contracted Kishiro Industries in Kusari, and leased production facilities from Daumann and Kruger to produce the <name>, Sirius's first private civilian gunship.
Rheinland's plan was to put the heavily subsidized <name> in the hands of as many willing and able private Rheinlanders as possible, with orders to defend their home space against any Liberty incursion.
Though this tactic proved successful in making Rheinland a truly fearsome place for Liberty patrols, an unforseen (or disregarded) consequence of flooding Rheinland with the <name> was its inevitable export. The <name>, can be found for sale throughout Sirius in various less-than-reputable shipyards.

In this case, the gunship should be cheap, light, and ever so slightly underpowered vs. other gunboats. A mass-produced, inexpensive but flawed and perilous alternative for Rheinland homeland defense, and whatever else you can RP it to be.
I like the idea of a civilian GB, but there's no way it should ever be able to take down factions' GBs in a fair fight.

Ever other GB in the game is a faction gunboat. So it should be completely worthless, Correct?
Face it guys, expecting people to use underpowered ships/guns dosent work. Expect anyone who wants a fair shot at a fight to ignore it then.
