Money is used to pay for materials and attract workers. If you have workers who will act for free because they believe they are saving humanity, that means you need a lot less money.
The Order does, however, not possess Valhalla 1. That's a pretty serious hindrance. Their advanced tech in vanilla- cloaking and all that- was pulled from Valhalla 1. They may have the scientists and the support to keep pace with modern developments, but they can't out-think people who have access to a Daam-K'Vosh library.
' Wrote:The Order don't need money because they don't spend anything, they don't use money much at all. They have resources to make things, so they do.
The Coalition are the same, they don't use money at all, they just work off of resources.
So... they just create things out of nothing then?

Fair enough, good point Sovereign, but those same people still need clothing, feeding and housing.
And even then not to mention all the rest of the gear you would need.
' Wrote:No, like I said, resources.
Money doesn't make ships, resources do, commodities. If you have enough of them, and loyal workers, then you don't need money.
At all.
So then, Omicron Minor has every resource known to man?

You're right, although they are smaller, and better trained than the houses, they have better concentration and don't need to pay companies billions to make stuff.

Ok listen please, a relatively small time faction shouldn't be running around like they are the best thing since sliced bread that's all I'm saying.
And not to mention the rather odd alliance that has popped up.
EDIT:Sorry about that it was posted twice for some reason.

No, the Order just get what they need to build stuff. From allies, from the Zoners, from supporters, from stealing them etc
Although the amount of Order caps is 1244390582349, that isn't an accurate representation of how much they've actually built.

The alliance was for the Corsairs to build their ships and help them with the resources to make them, in exchange for the Osiris. Odd, I know.
But they are small, and because they are small, they don't need much to keep going. Although eventually they will lose their 'step ahead of the houses' in a way.

The whole reason why I think it was odd is because the order want to more or less kill artifact trade, yes?
But the Corsairs main income is artifact trading.
Don't you see a conflict there?
EDIT:
Ahh, sorry for double post, I meant to click edit on my last post.
Again I am sorry about that.

I know, and you're right in a way.
Back to the original subject, I don't see why it has a smaller radius, especially considering it's balanced fine in all the other areas.

The alliance between the GC and the Dragons is much less stable.
But yeah, the alliance between Corsairs and Order is pretty much ending.
