"[RHA]Johann_Hartmann, an ex-miner who worked for Kruger, after years of mistreatment and abuse by his employers, found a way to become an escort pilot for Kruger freighters. His first mission involved escorting a freighter from Rheinland to Liberty, only to have been reportedly killed en route. Months later, it was revealed that he had signaled a Red Hessian fighter wing to help him take the convoy down."
((After all, the first Red Hessians were ex-miners, right?))
Ship Choice: Preferably Border World (Outcast) or Rogue/Molly
Sorry to nit pick but from the rumors I read I thought it was Daunam with the history of poor treatment? Kruger if I recall is trying very hard not to have the same rep.
Things are a bit congested at the command center right now, please bear with us. We'll get you processed, medically screened, and sorted out as soon as humanly possible.

to subjugate the enemy's army without doing battle is the highest of excellence."

But I could be wrong and sorry to Hijack thread.
Vogtland Infocard, first paragraph Wrote:The story of the Hessians emerges from the turbulent history of the Dresden system, the mining heartland of Rheinland since the beginning of the third century. Mining there was dirty, dangerous work, but Daumann and Kruger had little reason to lose sleep over the welfare of their employees. The price of the occasional disability pension or life insurance policy was nothing compared to the money made from extracting and refining the metals and materials that fed Rheinland industry.
Roster updated, we're now at the requisite 5 members to qualify as a faction.
Everyone who has applied for membership, please check that I have entered your data correctly in the Roster section of our RHA Information page.
When our we have 5 characters tagged and ID'd I'll post in the Faction Status thread (assuming that's how it works...)

Here's my hope. Everyone wanting to start a new faction takes their lessons from you Morrigan. I know for a fact you have been here a while. I know for a fact you have been a very good RPer and done your due diligence in participating in this community. And most importantly, you researched your faction. You put work into its conception, more work than the typical 1 paragraph Rp story that we are getting so used to seeing. I commend you and say thank you. And I think that might have been you that I fought last night in my TBH character.

ON MY WAY OUT OF RETIREMENT
I'd like to point out to everyone that the faction idea was initially floated by Dragan. I've collaborated with him heavily and would not have put all of this together without his impetus, so please keep him in your friendly thoughts as well.

That was probably DarkOddity who you encountered, I've mostly been flying a desk:)

I think it was also DO that tried to pirate my Epigoni Trader in Alpha last night.....:huh:I quickly explained and donated to your cause. I really like this idea. Can I join? I will Pm you with my factions for reasons untold. My Char will Be [RHA]Martin_Nantz.
Martin Nantz comes from a large but wealthy family in Rhienland. Because of his familie's influence, he was put through the best accadamies and was quickly promoted to a promonant position at Daumann. Durring the Nomad war, Daumann pushed its workers beyond there limits, and sucked the life and welfare from the people of Rhienland to make a pretty penny by over-pricing its military products. Martin realized that this was beyond an attrocity, and in a very slick move he transfered over 1.5 billion credits to different organizations dedicated to helping the destitute Rhienlanders. He was soon caught, however, and was forced to flee Rhienland. With the help of his brothers, he soon joined the Red Hessians and with his knowledge of Daumanns inner workings he was able to help them achieve many of there goals and influence more patriots to the cause.
I can suppy my own ship so you can forget the starting bonus. I would like to fly a Rhienland bomber.

David Wayland, of the Wrath-class space craft "Dysons Avanger", reporting for duty.
Relevant history/main resond for requesting to join:
In the time before the Nomad War, I was a pilot for the Rheinland Military, in the Wrath-class space craft "Venator". But on a mission to explore one of the unknown systems, near the Omega-area, my squadren was amushed by Nomad crafts. Our weapons had almost no effect, and most of my squadren was destroyed by the blink of an eye. When it all seemed hopeless, several ships from The Red Hessian Army appered out of the nothingness of space. At first I thought that the Red Hessains had made an Alliance with these treacherous Nomads. But once again, I was wrong.
The Red Hessian suddently opend fire at the Nomads, which had a great effect because of the surprise.
But still this should prove to be a long and terroble fight.
When the fog of war had fallen, only a single Red Hessarian sabre and myself had survived, but his ship was so badly damaged so he had to eject. I tractored his escape pod and promiced him that we should make it back. Then he told me that his name was Dyson Patrick.
At the time more Nomads started to appear on the computer, we were long gone.
My heading was Rheinland to get repairs.
Two Weeks later we finaly managed it to Dresden. Here we were encountered by a Rheinland police patroll.
They notified me that the Nomad War had begun, and the need for pilots was high. I was was going to accept the offer when they suddently discovered the pilot in my cargo-hold. They gave me a warning that if I didn't turn him in to them, they would open fire. I tried to explane that this man had saved my life, but they didn't care. In the last second I engaged my cruise-engines and made a run for it, with the patroll right behind me.
Luckely my Wrath-class was much faster than the old pieces of junk they were flying.
But in the second I got out of their range, I noticed a computer failure in the cargo-hold. It appeared that their lasers had opend a tiny hole in the ship hull. The cargo-hold were loosing pressure. But before I could manage to do anything, Dyson contacted me. "Listen carefully. I was hoping this was not going to happen, but I was wrong. I am carrying an active artifact, which is the only thing keeping the nomads from calling reinforcements from another dimension. You must take it and keep it with you for all time. You'll be safe at The Red Hessain Army. Here are the cordinates for a secret base: Vogtland Space. And remember... keep the artifact on you at all time.. *korff* *korff*... Good luck..." By that went quiet.
Then I said: "If you hadn't rescued me in the Omega-area, I would be dead by now. I shall avange you mate and keep the artifact safe."
By that I renamed my Wrath-class space craft, from "Venator" to "Dysons Avanger".
Now I am waiting outside the Vortland for a response about I can join the Red Hessian Army, so I can finaly get repairs and bring Dyson Patrick's death to justice. The Nomads, The Military, The Police... all shall pay for killing the innocent pilot who saved my life, and I will also make sure this will not happen again to other pilots.
