my choice would be Kamome (GMG miner) .... i used it before and if flown right it can do wonders... cargo 2.8k 6 turrets back and front...nice agility ....

I think the options you're looking for are either Container Transport or Behemoth. Those two are excellent.

Also, if you're a Hogosha the Raba is pretty awesome.

Kusari has what you need.

Big Dragon transport is very good while Kamome transport isn't bad either.

Technically the Raba would work nicely....but only if you are Kusari Quasi-legal
it is a very fine ship though, not the biggest hold but a good deal of armor and alot of regens

It may look quite weak, but it's quite a small model and pretty quick.

Maybe try Hegemon? It might be a Mining Ship, but it has a Nice Hull, 8 Forward/Backward firing Turrets, a CD, a CM and same powercore as the P-Trans. The only 'Weakness' of Hegemon is its size, which is simply Huge and won't do well in Asteroid fields and will get stuck in the Lanes if you don't have practice flying that ship... Also, another minor weakness is the Gun placement, 10 Guns (2 of which is Forward only, and another 2 which is backward only) spread all over the massive ship, makes it less accurate than ships like P-Trans or Shire... And also, general view of the Community over the ship and calling everyone who flies it a "Miner" makes it... 'Less suitable' for Commercial or Freelancing purposes (Yea, I had a Freelancer Hegemon for a while:P) But all and all, you can still consider it as a choice!
