Re the rest - yah it was gank majore but at the same time our ships were never going to take you out before you hit Dijon. And actually we very nearly were ganked ourselves when we were near the base. Those raving NPCs are a pain.
Fair requires a balance of ship numbers? Surely not - it is a balance of firepower! 1 VHF v 1 battleships fair for you? I doubt it. in fact not much other than several bombers vs a battleship would be fair. I believe we had something like 1 bomber. The rest were just flashy lights and good company.
Anyway if what I say isn't music to your ears you can ignore it. Apparently I talk too much anyway:P
A balance of firepower -is- a balance of ships... Or are you relying on numbers alone? Frankly, a fighterswarm could have easily destroyed him, if you had put your minds to it.
Clarified my above statement - what do you expect a balance of ship numbers? Yes when you have 9/12 HFs you do have to rely on numbers quite a bit, and we did put our minds to it - the distance between Nevers and Dijon isn't long enough for fighters to take the battleship out. Especially with those nasty royal fighters all over the place.
